Netflix Downloader still not working (ver. 5058 Win)

The Netflix Downloader hasn't been working at all since version 5055 (Win), and still doesn't work with the newly released 5057 (Win) and 5058 (Win).
When trying to download a movies/show, it opens the "Analysing" window for a second, but does nothing afterwards. Doesn't open the quality selection, doesn't add the video to the download queue.

I just tested Netflix and got the quality selection pop up.

Note: The way I update is using the offline installer in the announcement link and running it as an administrator. This seems to allow the installer to better update components and the registry.

First..... let me state..... I believe that you are experiencing the problem you've stated and anything I may say from this point on is purely to assist StreamFab personnel in solving your situation..... It is in no way meant to be argumentative..... Quite the contrary.....

Also..... I always run StreamFab "as an administrator" set through the "Compatibility" tab of the "Properties" window..... I access NETFLIX through the website itself..... never use a VPN or any other type of cloaking..... and always update StreamFab through the appropriate Offline Downloader available from the website..... NEVER do I choose to do it from the popup window announcing a new version is available shown during StreamFab startup.....

If you haven't done your update in that manner..... I suggest you do so now because it may clear up your problem..... Here are both links if needed.....

      https://dl.dvdfab.cn/download/49_505...b_x64_5057.exe

      https://dl.dvdfab.cn/download/49_505...b_x64_5058.exe

Having said all that..... for me on my computer..... NETFLIX is and has been operating as normal..... I have not yet updated to 5.0.5.8..... but 5.0.5.7 is running NETFLIX as good as can be expected.....

And to insure that what I'm saying is still currently valid..... I just downloaded "THE GRAY MAN" and it plays fine in 1080p with subtitles remuxed.....

I have attached the log file for the developers.....

If you'd allow me to make a suggestion for you to do the following.....

      (1) Shut down StreamFab completely.....
      (2) Go to your log file..... C:\Users\YOURID HERE\Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\Log\StreamFab.log. .... and delete it..... Don't worry..... another will create automatically as soon as StreamFab shows new activity.....
      (3) Open StreamFab and attempt to download a movie from NETFLIX.....
      (4) Assuming it is going to again fail for you as it has been..... once you're convinced it's not going to work..... shut down StreamFab completely.....
      (5) Post another reply to this thread and attach your log file..... C:\Users\YOURID HERE\Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\Log\StreamFab.log. ....

This gives the developers a clean log file showing StreamFab startup and setup..... along with the initial handshake to NETFLIX and how it's attempting to process your request..... It should show what's causing the failure or at least let them compare your log file with mine and others which have been submitted to see where any differences may exist.

So, I've reinstalled SF from the offline installer and launched it, both as admin. But when attempting to download The Gray Man movie, the same problem repeats: the "Analyzing video URL" tab appears for like 1 second, then disappears and nothing happens.

There were multiple other people complaining about this in another thread, so it's not a problem unique to me.
I've also reported this issue twice (for ver 5056 and 5057) via the ticket system, with logs attached, but got only some generic responses.

        Here is the log:

As I said..... I never doubted for a moment that you were experiencing the problem you described.....

My post was meant as an assistance to give the developers a log file that works to compare against yours which obviously does not..... and also alert you to try something which you may not have considered.....

Hopefully StreamFab will give you and the others with the same problem the support you require.

I don't want to be one of those " Me too" guys but I use the Fab updater and it works fine, and so does Netflix, as a matter of fact, I love the way it processes so fast and goes on to the remixing in seconds. I think the issue some people are having is network related, but I really couldn't say without delving into their systems. I think the developers did a great job of speeding the process up and 5058 is the version yet.

              Yes, I understand that.
I'm still in the 30-day trial period however, and since I joined, there have been 2 major problem: this one with Netflix, and one with Paramount+ (where the downloaded videos are incomplete and have a looping segment inside - an issue that has already been reported and discussed here in forums multiple times).

I've also tried downloading some stuff from Netflix (and Paramount+) with AnyStream, and it worked fine. I was even able to use vpn for some regional content on Netflix - something that, as I understand it, was never possible with StreamFab even when it works properly. The problem thus (probably) isn't with my internet connection, OS configuration, nor my Netflix/Paramount accounts.

I would very much prefer using StreamFab (instead of AS, as SF has much larger scope), but if the Netflix Downloader works fine for most people, and doesn't for some others, I'm not sure how high priority it will be for StreamFab to fix it, or whether they even manage to fix it in a reasonable time frame.

In the past, whenever i had an issue with a module, i would sign out and sign back in and it would fix the problem. Happened a couple of times with Netflix and once with Amazon

I've already tried that, and it didn't help.
