Question For All Users..... Is HBOMAX working for you?

I would like to know if HBOMAX is successfully downloading for you.....

It doesn't matter what the resolution is whether it be 1080p..... or 720p.....

I would like to know whether or not HBOMAX is allowing you to successfully download video files..... and that once downloaded..... those video files are playable and watchable.....

Thank you to those of you who respond.....

And to those of you who don't..... I respect your decision not to.

I had only 1 failure using an older version of SF, but that's unusual for HBO - previously, that would indicate the content has been removed by HBO and was no longer available.

Laptop 1: Using 5051, I was able to DL episode 5 of "Trial of Christine Keeler" in 1080p (pre-April series) which was already in my queue. It was complete and playable, but episode 6 almost instantly failed - over and over again.

Laptop 2: Using 5053, I was able to add episode 6 to my queue with no problems and DL in 1080p - it played just fine. Both laptops are on the same nework, so I don't get why the failure to access this video on laptop 1, unless it's a 5051 vs 5053 version issue. Also was able to DL "Twisted" in 720p, complete, which is also playable. I was also able to get "Absolute Power" to start downloading in 720p, but aborted it because I want a better resolution.

    Hope this was helpful!

In the current version (5.0.5.8) I haven't tried to pull much from HBOMAX but I have been able to successfully download the 1 show episode I wanted to (took a few tries and closing/reopening the program) but I haven't been able to download any movies (have tried 2 but they keep showing error).

        Hi Weavermovies,

There are only a few things I wanted to download from HBOMax.

I did not renew my HBOMax subscription due to all the problems with DRM and not being able to get shows.

I just signed up for another month to test last night after ya'll said it was working.

Using StreamFab 5.0.5.8 I can not download House of Dragon episodes in any resolution.

It automatically gives me a "Something went wrong" popup (attached #1 truncated to remove specific code).

I also get the same popup when trying to do Eraser Reborn, but then it tries to analyse Eraser Reborn and then fails (attached #2) with a failure starting message.

I deleted the cache/temp/log files prior to running this test.

        Rebooted equipment (modem/computer).

I was able to download the House of Dragon episodes with competitor at 1080p for first 4 episodes and 720p for the rest.

I will attach the logs on this as a reply.

I use to get the "Something went wrong" message, but I just tried the HBOMax module and it functioned normally, no popup. However, if you do get it, just dismiss it and procede as usual; you should be able to download normally.

All in all, HBOmax is temperamental. The past few days I have downloaded WW, WW1984, The Batman, Justice League and Dune in 2160

I just don't get this: while I can download HBO from laptop 2 running 5053 -and while SF stays it's capturing 720p, it's actually only 540p - I still can't download anything from HBO on laptop 1, which is now on 5053 - same version as laptop 2. Both are running on the same network, and when I shut down SF and opened it to try again, I was signed out of HBO, which hasn't ever happened before. Peacock, constantly - but never HBO.

When the 5051 version I was running on L1 crashed and deleted everything, for like the fifth time in a month, I uninstalled it and reinstalled 5053 from the ground up, clean new install, asking for authorization and all. Then I transferred the taskdata folder so I had my download queue restored - AFAIK that's the only data that survived from that version. If I didn't have a backup laptop I'd be completely SOL here.

If anyone has any ideas why this is happening, I'd love to hear them, because I'm fresh out.
