I did find that the OP was complaining about the movie Casper's Haunted Christmas on Peacock and that StreamFab did not remove the commercials. I read the OP's log. I downloaded the movie myself. I read my log. I watched the movie on my Chromebook. Conclusion: The commercials are built right into the movie and can not be removed in the normal way that commercials are removed. Normally commercial breaks are noted in a separate data file that is downloaded prior to the movie download starting. The break is usually shown right on the stream player's timeline. When the break time comes, the screen will briefly go to black and a request will be made to an external commercial provider and relatively random ad or ads will appear for the time allotted for the break. One method of preventing ads from appearing in your downloaded movie is to stop them from coming down from the external commercial provider. With the Casper movie, this is not possible because the ads are an actual part of the movie, as if they were just another scene in the show. There are no breaks listed on the player's timeline.
So, there is nothing wrong with StreamFab in this case. The problem is that Peacock is imposing ads on children and making themself look as if they are the good guy because they are making a terribly animated movie available for free. This notice appeared at the beginning of the movie...
