DRM MPD no longer working for AMC+ or arrow-player.com

This was previously working in v6.0.0.3 but not v6.0.0.4. I rolled back to 3 but it still doesn't work. I updated to v6.0.0.5 no luck either. Suggestions?

6.1.0.2 downloads from AMC+ again (yay), but not from Arrow. Thanks.

I forgot to mention, Arrow videos play through the StreamFab browser but the option to download never pops up.

Same problem here, the option to download from ARROW does not appear.

I have passed the feedback to the QA team.

For what it's worth, if it isn't known ARROW uses M3U8. Thanks.

Arrow-player.com is neither listed as a supported site for StreamFab M3U8 or MPD. Furthermore, there is no extractor found within yt-dlp for it, as well, which is key to making it supported by StreamFab. I'm afraid that you're going to have to wait quite a bit longer until yt-dlp feels it is worthwhiled to make an extractor for it.

Yet another update where things are made worse. Can't download from ITVX now. Download seems to complete but then fails. Thought it might be just newly added content but a couple of titles that downloaded successfully last week now fail.

The fact that he said it used to work in a previous version means that it probably uses an extractor for a licensed content delivery system.

Like, for example, Channel 4, Showtime, SXSW, and UKTV use Brightcove and WEtv uses AMCNetworks. I don't have a subscription so i can't check and see what extractor it would need but it's probably not Brightcove as UKTV uses that and it's apparently working now.

I wonder if they only rely on yt-dlp extractors... The generic extractor can also work on sites that don't do anything special and it's a straightforward .mpd or .m3u8.

The generic was the one that I was wondering about but I wasn't able to find a full description of what it entailed. It's good to have a yt-dlp Pro around here to straighten me out. I was hoping that yt-dlp --list-extractors was enough but I guess not.

Downloaded new version and the ITVX problem remains. Completes the download then says FAILED. Is it that difficult to leave things that actually work alone? Why do we so often get an upgrade that actually makes things worse?
