Anyone able to DL from Vimeo?

Anyone able to DL from Vimeo?
I have done it many times, now it just sits in the cue saying "downloading" but no movement after about an hour.
Can anyone get this to work?

    Thanks in advance.

There's been a major DRM shakeup in the past week - if you take a look at the most recent version topic posted at the top of the forum you'll see:

    StreamFab 6.0.0.7 Changelog
Fix: Due to the upgraded DRM schemes applied on Dec. 10, timely fixes were made in this new version, however, we still need some time to correct all the other problems.
Here below is the current status of the streaming services:
    - For Amazon, most of Prime videos can still be downloaded in 1080p with EAC3 5.1 audio track, however, the newly-released ones will be downloaded in 480p with AAC 2.0 audio for now.
    - For other services, most of videos can be downloaded as usual, only the newly-released ones will switch to the new re-encoding mode. (The audio quality is down to AAC in this mode, and the download speed will also be slightly affected but the video quality remains almost close to the original.)

So until this DRM change is cracked, this stopgap version should allow you to download selections, but be aware that their quality may be affected. You can read more here at:

Actually, this video is not DRM protected.

It downloads just fine with the 2022.11.11 version of yt-dlp but doesn't work with StreamFab 6.0.0.6. StreamFab uses yt-dlp as it's youtube downloader so it should work.

This should be looked into by the devs

Agreed with jpp72. Try yt-dlp and you should be fine. I've grabbed content from vimeo today and it didn't have any issues for me, but then again it's not DRM protected. I can also help if you need any. I have a custom script I wrote that will download all subs, best audio, best video, remux them to mkv, etc blah blah blah. I'll be more than happy to share my settings. Might be worth a look at from jpp72 too as their settings may differ with different options, at least until it can be fixed here.

Ya yt-dlp is my goto tool for when non-DRM'd stuff doesn't work in StreamFab. I have several scripts that are easily accessible via right-clicking on a folder where you want to download the video into. I use it mostly for Discovery+ since StreamFab doesn't download the subtitles and my wife will divorce me if i don't have subtitles for everything we watch
