Mona This post is now 3 days old, and is a great argument for why SF shouldn't just disconnect itself every weekend. (As well as for updating one's topics in a timely manner so mods don't waste their time addressing an issue that's now become something else.)

While v. 6.0.0.8. fixed some connection and "failure to authorize download of this video" errors in Prime AU, SD is still the default for a lot of selections, especially subscription channels.

What needs to be passed to the "QA Team" is that this episode will download with v.6.0.0.8. - but only in 540p, just like most videos on Prime US and Prime UK and Prime Pretty Much Everywhere. That makes it part of that wider picture, and not about a specific post-Dec 10th episode that's still failing to download.

If you really want to deal with Australian regional issues, nothing on Stan. is downloading at all - just endless analysis. But it is NOT a Priority Channel.

It is for people in Australia. Just because you do not see it as a priority, doesn't mean it is not a priority to someone. Selfish people here.

As opposed to people just looking to pick a fight? Because between of the two of us, my guess is that I'm the only one who's paying $21 a month for a service I'm not currently getting, mate.
And not only has not one person from Oz posted a single mumbling word about it either here or on Reddit, but SF has yet to mention it once in any release notes.

So if the choice is between SF fixing my way cheaper access to Prime versus Stan, then I'm choosing Prime.

You may now resume making more snide comments like "when is the next two-week warning?" - because that worked out so well for you last time.

Do I hear a bit of unhappiness in your tone or is it just that you have nothing better to do than complain?

SInce you've continually proven yourself on this board to be tone-deaf, not even close. As that deficit also goes hand-in-hand with a stunning lack of self-awareness, do please keep gassing on about people who've got nothing better to do than complain - or self-righteously pick fights that they don't even have a dog in - because that's always highly amusing.

Maybe the pfennig will eventually drop - maybe not. Once I stop laughing, I honestly won't much care either way.

Wow, you must be female to have such a way with words. You know aggravation is a common cause of illness in the west. You cannot enjoy all your movies if you are ill from all this frustration.

Aaand there's the misogyny train pulling into the station, right on time. If "aggravation is a common cause of illness in the west," then it looks like you must be a self-appointed carrier.

As for frustration, this you? Tsk.

                    I'll just leave this here:

                    self-a·ware·ness
                    /ˌselfəˈwernəs/
                    noun
                    1. conscious knowledge of one's own character, feelings, motives, and reactions.
                    2. a conscious awareness of one’s internal states and interactions with others.

Ahhh, you stoled my "Americans think they own internet" line. I was saving that for the right time. How about this one?

No, I do not develop anything for this company, I develop other software for a completely different purpose.

Aged like fine wine, dinnit? And good catch - I'm betting not.

But really now, clarity and resolution above SD are a priority for people in Australia. Just because others do not see it as a priority, doesn't mean it is not a priority to someone. Selfish people here. *harrumph*

Hi all, let's just calm down a little bit. A new version will be released this week, according to the developers, the new version can make the quality back to what it was before the DRM update.

I really don't want to come across as giving you a hard time because I really do appreciate what you do on this forum but I've got to ask...
Which modules will this new version be bringing back the quality of to before the DRM update? And I don't know if it is a translation thing or just my interpretation but when you say quality I think in terms of processing of the video, as in re-encoding to a finer quality, rather than the new DRM having been conquered and the raw video coming streaming through. Are you prepared to say that the Developers have broken through the new Widevine-2 DRM and that all modules will be fixed in the next version (possibly named 6.0.0.9)? If not all the modules, which then?

                            Thank you.

Prime Australia is back in service with 6.1.0.0. Although I have found one episode of "The Judge" 2-part series that will only download in AAC, not EAC3, other subscription channel downloads & regular Prime selections are back to 1080p and EAC3.

Stan is also back on track. (However, the 1st & 3rd episodes of "Bali 2002" still fail, as they have since I reported them back in October - the 1st still only 18 seconds long, no picture or audio, and the 3rd is full-lenth but without an audio track. So it's absolutely true that the quality is back to where it was before! )

Kidding aside, thank you Mona! And to the devs, of course!
