I'm getting almost an immediate 1080p download on S16 episodes with 6.0.0.8.
Just to make sure I have the right series, this is the Smithsonian series available through Paramount+, yes? The reason I ask is that when you look at each season, Prime renames it "Air Crash Investigation" and that's how it loads in the queue - even though the episodes on the same page show the "Air Disasters" title and thumbnail.
Does it stick on analyzing anything else? Did you upgrade through the open app, or download it from the site? Have you tried restarting your computer after the upgrade?

      • Yes, the Smithsonian "Air Disasters" series on Paramount+
      • I can select the series "Inside the Factory" and start playing an episode and it analyses and downloads all episodes normally.
      • I downloaded the new series "1923" without a problem.
      • "Criminal Minds" also works normally..
      • So it seems to just be something different about "Air Disasters"
      • I downloaded through the app when it suggested a new version. However I needed to re-login and authorize for some reason.
      • Yes I rebooted
Again, if I start playing an episode and eventually cancel the Analyzing Audio... dialog box, I can reload the page and the Downloader appears with just the one episode available to add to the queue or download. Weird! So my workaround is to play each episode in this manner to add to the queue.
Thanks though for taking the time to respond so thoroughly. Cheers!

Aw, no worries. I can't tell you how many "upgrades" I've encountered since the end of August that have over-written my current app version and did a brand-new installation, right down to requiring authorization. Needless to say, my download queue and history were...well, history. And every single blasted one of them malfunctioned in new and inventive ways before they finally crashed and deleted everything all over again.*

So I'm not too suprised that I can do a straightforward download of Air Disasters, while you have to jump through hoops to obtain a single episode. That was a clever workaround, and I'm making a note of it, because you never know. Here's hoping that you don't have to do it for any other series!

*(BTW, you might want to either screenshot your queue or copy/backup your taskdata folder on a regular basis - I've found that when the app will eventually crash when you've deleted a selection from the download queue, when you open it up again it'll be a blank gray or white wasteland, depending on your skin setting. That's when you'll have to uninstall the corrupted version and then reinstall whatever newer version exists to get it to function at all. Good times, eh?)

The QA team will test the "Air Disasters" series.
The StreamFab log file is needed as well, thanks.

Maybe the QA Team could also look into why you can't release upgrades that actually upgrade the current version, instead of acting as a totally new installation that obliterates it, right down to the download queue and history? It would be so great to be able to have confidence in the upgrade, rather than worrying whether everything's gonna go sideways.

Thanks Mona - log is attached. The original was too big so I started a fresh one for this effort. I see **** Parse meta tv error: 5 in the log.
