    6.1.0.0 new issues - in addition to old issues prior to last DRM

    Despite emails from DVDFab/StreamFab saying conditions were back to prior to last DRM change, I have encountered the following new issues in addition to unresolved issues (HBOMax 720p/Apple+ Resolution) with StreamFab that existed prior to last DRM change.


    1. StreamFab can no longer play Apple+ videos in it's browser as of 6.1.0.0
    2. StreamFab 6.1.0.0 no longer works with Paramount+
    3. Can no longer use various prior StreamFab versions (6.0.0.8 & 6.0.0.7) give error and/or will not authorize via StreamFab's server - other's have noted these versions can no longer be downloaded for users that paid to access previous versions.


    1 & 3 of above have yet to be commented on by StreamFab.

    does seem like they need to be a little clearer about decisions but SF is basically a GUI for both providers and their (SF) servers. If big changed occurred on the backend with their (SF) servers then older versions are basically pointless.

      I was thinking that the two specific versions (6.0.0.8/6.0.0.7) *might* be causing support issues for StreamFab' servers - but that's speculation on my point until StreamFab tells us why (if they do) those two versions are no longer accessible or were withdrawn and unsupported now.

      6.0.0.6 can be installed (as well as previous versions per other user's posts) and works with the Apple+ issue of 6.1.0.0 not being able to play in browser.

      Using other software exclusively for HBOMax (direct site) & Paramount+ (direct site) right now.

      Mona recently commented about sending an issue to the "Quality Assurance Team".

      Expecting new issues to come up by StreamFab changes when StreamFab tries to address older issues is the norm here.

      In addition to testing on specific issues being "fixed", the "Quality Assurance Team" needs to do a thorough test of Streaming services outside their current fixes to make sure they are not breaking other stuff.

        I just downloaded the latest episode of TULSA KING SEASON 1 EPISODE 7..... directly from the PARAMOUNT+ website directly..... in 1080p..... with subtitles..... using StreamFab 6.1.0.0.....

        I'm submitting this log file in the spirit that doing so may both assist the developers in troubleshooting your problems..... and also help to prevent them from making any changes which will cause those of us for whom PARAMOUNT+ is currently working to lose functionality.​​

          Hi Weavermovies,

          As in other thread, wondering if this is an issue with the "with commercials" version of Paramount+ via it's direct website.

          Since you said you have the "without commercial" subscription and I have the "with commercials" and when I used the same downloading formats as you I still got errors.

          Hopefully it'll be a moot issue if StreamFab releases a version this week that works with Paramount+ direct website for both of us.

          Per Mona, they can get it done in this week's release.
