I have the Looney Tunes Gold Collection (4 disc DVD set) that I'll see if I can use to get any of the missing ones from there first.
    Kidjoe,

    I think I'm ok...

Found about 1/2 of the missing already.

Just waiting for StreamFab to do the remaining 100 in queue.

[QUOTE=jpp72;n420688]So i saw your message yesterday and went to download all 15 seasons (255 Episodes) from HBO Max. I was under the impression they were all gone so thanks for the tip.

I am a bit anal when it comes to chronological order and as you know, those "seasons" on HBO Max are just random episodes from random years =< 1950. Except for the "Corn on the Cop" episode that is from 1965.

In order to use automated metadata and renaming tools, as well as tracking missing episodes, i am using the years as seasons. As such, i have renamed the 255 episodes from HBO Max:

      Hi Jpp72,

I'm with you on having them chronological.

      Your listing is awesome!

The HBO Max "Season" lists are wacky.

They differ on different sites, are numbered differently and have holes for withdrawn/missing episodes.

Amazon has it's lists that reflect "holes" where HBOMax has withdrawn some episodes.

I was just thinking of deleting the Season/Episodes entirely, but I do like your chrono order idea.

I'll probably use your formatting as a template.

I'm mainly interested in the ones I watched growing up, but will keep the others.

I ran across this link that lists the episodes by years
Series of comedy short films from 1929 to 1969 during the golden age of American animation, alongside its sister series Merrie Melodies.

It made more sense that the other lists I saw at various places that differed.

How did you rename them? did you have a script, or do it by hand?

If you put those named like that into Plex, does it give the right info on the cartoons?

BUT look via HBOMax web site at Season 1 for example... the episodes are 1, 4, 5, 10.... i.e. missing numbers in between!! Same is true with seasons 2, 3, 4 and 5 so far.

          StreamFab gets the naming right!!
          Kidjoe,

Thanks for the heads-up on numbering.

I think I'm gonna go with JPP72's format of chronological naming and totally ignore the HBOMax Seasons/Episodes.

JPP72 already did "The Lion's Portion" of all the work for my database/renaming with his post examples.

          (Thanks! JPP72! Very Appreciated! )

          I'm gonna strip the HBO/Other Season #/Episode #'s & go with Chronological.

Loony Tunes by Year (for those interested)

            Kidjoe,

            Interesting questions.

I noticed in searching for lists in the last few days that trakt.tv seems to use JPP72's naming convention.

"Trakt is a platform that does many things, but primarily keeps track of TV shows and movies you watch. It integrates with media centers (like Plex) to enable scrobbling, so everything is automatic."

Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol. 5

It seems that it would probably work with that Plex ya'll use based on above, but you and JPP72 would know a lot more since I don't use Plex.

If you go to archive.org then there you can find a lot of the Tex Avery Screwball Classics in HD.

Unfortunately, since the naming convention from the other tool is wrong, i wasn't able to script it. Those 255 episodes were renamed by hand (only the 19??x?? part) and once that was done, i was able to batch rename to add the codec, resolution and source.

To get the year and episode number, i loaded the show's page in Sonarr and did a CTRL-F to find the episode title and that would give me the year and ep number.

For people who don't use Sonarr, i would suggest you get the year and episode number from here: https://thetvdb.com/series/looney-tu...ons/absolute/1

CTRL-F on an episode title, click on it and look at the top of the page where you see all 3 season/episode types. DVD order, Aired order and Absolute order

Because each DVD/HBO Max season usually spans one or 2 seasons, you can just scroll to find the others without having to CTRL-F with a few exceptions.

All other ones i got from newsgroups so they already had the proper names for Sonarr to download, extract, rename, generate metadata, and finally import into Kodi & Plex.

Because i like having full control over the metadata, i use Sonarr and tinyMediaManager to rename the files and generate the metadata to local artwork and .nfo files for Kodi. I then import the same data into Plex using https://github.com/gboudreau/XBMCnfoTVImporter.bundle for TV Shows and https://github.com/gboudreau/XBMCnfo...mporter.bundle for Movies.

That way, in addition to having full control of the metadata, i can reload my very extensive collection without worrying about fixing false matches for 8500 movies and 1920 series. Would be a nightmare otherwise!

Mike_M: You are very welcome! I figured someone could benefit from me being so anal

                  Per K,

Yea, I found one of the one's I was looking for there yesterday.

Youtube had several that were awesome in quality & I used Replay Media download because I already have 100 in queue for StreamFab for Boomerang

It's frustrating to wait until midnight of the next day for 50 very short videos for YouTube Downloader that take less than 30 minutes to download on StreamFab once they kick off.

                  Oh, well...

Trakt gets its metadata from several sources but TheTVDB is the main one... TheTVDB is a great resource but it is often frustrating with how the decide to handle certain shows. I am sorry but Hard Knocks In Season with the Arizona Cardinals is Season 2 of Hard Knocks In Season. NOT Hard Knocks Season 19!

For that reason, i had to manually create the metadata for Hard Knocks In Season with tinyMediaManager because they deleted the show from their database and Sonarr gets its info from there.

Can I ask, what do you use to watch your media? Just a dumb DNLA? Kodi? Emby? Jellyfin? Serviio?

I use Kodi inside the house and Plex when travelling. Also share my library with friends and family with Plex

                        Hi October262,

Hopefully I'll be able to logon there today.

Registered earlier, have not gotten email from them in order to logon yet - hope they don't have an issue with my Yahoo email address, can try gmail one later if I don't see it drop.

Some places don't like Yahoo emails.

I've had mine for many, many years when I first got it as a Southwestern Bell (Swbell) customer.

This forum would not let me register with a Yahoo email - Mona had to set up my id manually to bypass that problem after I emailed them.

Running to Library right now to pickup 2 of 3 volumes from the Looney Tunes Platinum collection that I had sent to my branch Tuesday.

DVDFab - here I come! (they had upgrade of version today too).

                        Thanks!

I needed to find better quality releases for some episodes i had in XviD and DivX formats. I found the Season 16 to 24 DVDs and was able to upgrade quite a few.

For those that have DVDs 16 to 24, here are the renamed files to help you if you want to use the Aired Order.

How did you get the M3U8 DRM to download from Boomerang? It is not analyzing or anything for me...

                              Hi Jpp72,

Did you get the popup for the video and then choose add to queue or download now?

I only used the queue thru adding files to it and then starting queue - it did popup with the option box to download now or add to queue.

                              I *never* did "download" now.

                              *****

I logged into Boomerang.com with the Youtube Module and searched for each one and added finds to queue.

Then when I finished I started the queue, but also noticed it was just sitting there not doing anything.

But it *said* next to the queue that it was downloading?

I went back to Youtube module, hit account on Boomerang, it asked me my age and then it asked me to logon again?

This was odd and has happened several times when adding them to queue and then trying to start the queue.

There seems to be something that logged me out when I started the queue, although it was interacting with Boomerang.com when I added the files in Youtube module right before I started the queue.

Also, when I closed out StreamFab, and re-opened it *seemed* to be logged into Boomerang and I *thought* I should be able to start the queue, but I actually had to login to Boomerang.com again in Youtube module for it to start downloading them.

A few times I just put Boomerang.com in the Youtube search field and logged in that way.

It then proceeded to download the files.

I haven't done it on the new version - have to wait till midnight.

I also received an email from DVDfab.cn today around noon about the "all-new universal downloader" and it's got the Boomerang logo (see attached) added, but they didn't include it under "supported sites" when you look at other info.

I'm sure that since DVDFab/StreamFab has added the Boomerang logo now (but not under supported sites) for the email they fully tested so they can properly "escort my download" and are right now figuring this quirkiness out... /s

Thought that was synchronicity or someone seeing what we're up to? *grin*

                              Anyway, hope this helps.

I also cleared the queue & log files, so when I use StreamFab later, I'll do Screen Capture showing me I was logged in, start the queue and hopefully it'll show downloading but not really doing it, then login to Boomerang.com via Youtube module and after the ~28 minutes it takes to download the 50 files, I'll create log files and post as a new post for them to look-at with log file, so they can ignore it...

If that doesn't work, I'll try something else in 24 hours at midnight, when I can download more files.

                              *grin*
