[Wait New Version 6110] - Amazon isn't being analyzed/downloaded any longer

Ok i got it to work on all my machines now:

• 6.1.0.9 wasn't working
• Installed 6.1.0.8 over 6.1.0.9
• Downloaded with 6.1.0.8
• Installed 6.1.0.9 over 6.1.0.8
• Started the Amazon modules
• Started the Amazon queue

This worked on all 3 machines that did work before...

Amazon doesn't work at all and at the moment I am in the USA studying at Cambridge Ma. So baloney that it works in USA, it gets stuck on processing at the end. Forever.

There was a bit of a slowdown at the point you showed in your screenshot due to FFmpeg maxing out at 86% CPU (probably because of the ridiculous bitrate which is uncontrollable by StreamFab) but if you would have walked away and had a few more bites of that baloney then everything would have been a happy ending. With you being a computer genius touring the world's most prestigious colleges and universities, I thought you would have seen that.

"Without a Trace" is a show on Amazon's HBOMax Channel. I subscribe to HBOMax directly and so I can't test it. You can also rent/buy the episode you have listed but I draw the line at wasting money to test other people's problems.
Do you have HBOMax through Amazon or did you rent/buy the episode?

Actually that was partially incorrect. The bitrate was indirectly controllable because there was actually a 5+ GiB version as well as the 11+ GiB version. I ran that one and the slowdown was equally as long in both due to FFmpeg maxing out the CPU.
My second experiment was replacing the 4.4 version of FFmpeg found in StreamFab 6.1.0.9 with the latest version of FFmpeg which is 5.1.2-12. It had no effect on the slowdown. It was equally as long while maxing out the CPU.

I've downloaded the first 5 seasons fine, it only started playing up after the latest StreamFab update.

I did some testing with 6.1.0.9 with Amazon US. I seem to be having the stuck analyzing video issue on recent TV show episodes. I was testing with FBI International and FBI. If I go back 3 weeks and earlier it works fine. Anything more recent hangs.

Hi everyone! WOW! What a great response to my enquiry!

I greatly appreciate ALL the posts, really. A lot of great information, suggestions and ideas to ponder.

To answer a couple of people who asked this: I am in the US; southern California, to be a bit more specific.

I am 100% certain--at least in my case--the issue was with the most recent update (6.1.0.9)

After making my original post, I had realized that my other PC also has StreamFab installed, but I hadn't updated the program. It was running 6.1.0. Using that PC with that version number, Amazon was working perfectly. Since I have the 'extended download service', I incrementally updated that PC. I did an update, tested Amazon (and a few other services: HBOMax, Netflix, etc.)--all worked fine. Did another update, tested, all worked fine. I did the incremental update process from 6.1.0 to 6.1.0.8--and all is now working fine.

I then went back to the my other PC (the one that was running 6.1.0.9) and took cats4u's suggestion and completely uninstalled/removed StreamFab from that PC. I use a third-party program called Revo Uninstaller 5 to do the actual uninstall (it uses StreamFab's uninstaller, but then does a very thorough and very effective 'cleaning' of any and all 'leftover elements' of a program--folders, files, registry entries, etc.).

I then did a fresh install of 6.1.0.8 and just finished testing Amazon, HBOMax, Netflix--ALL is working fine. I was able to download that Mutiny on the Bounty rented video for my father-in-law with NO problem.

As I said at the start of this post, at least for me, rolling back to 6.1.0.8 solved the issue. So, I think it is safe to conclude the issue is with 6.1.0.9 (at least for me).

Same story. It analyses and downloads. It just takes a long time after 1st. Downloaded 7 10 minute cartoons in the past 2 hours. Previous post said new episodes were problem and old was not. I was downloading cartoons from the late 60's that have been on boomerang for quite a while
