SF Mac M1 6.1.1.8 Netflix log out after few minutes

SF Mac M1 6.1.1.8 Netflix log out after few minutes, Germany, no VPN, search and sort by genre = no titles found
I logged out all devices from Netflix and changed the password,
deleted the cache + log files, then deleted hole StreamFab Folder, Netflix is unusable
With some luck I can analyze and download a movie from the Netflix main menu, then log out
    iMac M1 Ventura 13.3.1 - streamfab for m1 6.1.1.8

Yes same with the previous version, but deleting cache helped in 6.1.1.2 to use search and sort by genre, stay logged in a few minutes more, in 6.1.1.8 not

          Hi colaman-BS,

          Just curious.

Do any Mac users that have these problems with Netflix tried to disable IPv6 in adapter settings to see if that makes a difference?

I'd be curious to know if doing this could possibly make a difference due to:

          *****

Recently I had an issue with another program that was locking up on interfacing with Netflix.

After many hours of trying different things, It was determined that IPv6 was being queried by Netflix/and or resulting in two actual logins that Netflix was seeing.

The best explanation was that due to Netflix crackdown on sharing/Vpn they were doing some different things such as analyzing connections specifically focusing on or changing IPv6 utilization.

All I know is that unchecking Ipv6 & only utilizing Ipv4 in my adapter setting in Windows resolved the issues for Netflix conflicts.

Some people here have responded to these issues with "Turn off your Vpn", when the users are saying they don't use Vpn due to the issues acting like they are using VPN.

This may or may not fix it, but surely some Mac users have the expertise to do this for their adapters (only use Ipv4) if possible just to see if it *might* be an issue.

It may or may not work, but it would be something I would test if I were a Mac user and having this issue.

Netflix was the *only* streaming service of several that had this Ipv6 issue and I know the default is to have both Ipv4 & Ipv6 enabled for adapters and could possible be an issue on networks and some sites that might utilize IPv6.

Just a suggestion and curious to see the result if some Mac user with a little technical expertise might try this.

I'd change adapter to only use Ipv4, reboot system, then try.

If doesn't make a difference set Ipv6 back to also being utilized.

Like I said, it *may* be barking up the wrong tree, but due to my recent experience with Netflix/Ipv6 issue connectivity and interfacing, that's why it's on my mind.

Hope this might be of some help.

          Mike

              Colaman-BS,

              Thanks for trying.

I know hardly anything about Mac's.

Just wondering if the Mac Netflix issue was similar to the Win Netflix issue I encountered.
