Hulu has reverted to 720p and H264 no matter what I choose

It seems like this started yesterday. I have been downloading from Hulu in 1080p with H265 for a while now, but starting yesterday or the day before, the same shows that were fine in 1080p H265 (Grey's Anatomy, Good Trouble, for example) now only download in 720p and H264.

This is on two different computers, both have been rebooted and the behavior is the same.

I was really enjoying getting 1080p (and even some 2160p) content from Hulu and hope that this is just a temporary problem.

Hulu is broken altogether, try downloading Housebroken Season 2 Episode 7. Just that episode and tell me what happens. I get nothing much less 720p.

Some additional information:

I was able to download Grey's Anatomy S19E01 in 1080p H265 just now. However, the final two episodes of the season that were posted late last week (S19E19 and S19E20) only downloaded in 720p H264 - in the same session.

Mona, here is the log of downloading HouseBroken S02E07 from HULU. First is as x264 which was successful and then as x265 which was a failure.

I'm rather confused, I've yet to have an issue with hulu. I even tried "housebroken s2 e7" to confirm your issue, however, it downloads in 1080p just fine (h265 was all I tried)

StreamFab v6.1.2.1: This worked for me. Maybe try the same in whatever version you are using or revert to 6.1.2.1. Remember that you can have an x86 and a different x64 version on the same PC if you don't want to uninstall your current version. So you could install 6.1.2.1 x86 on the machine that has 6.1.2.3 x64

Hi, the QA team tested, but could not duplicate the problem, I will pass your log files to them to check and run more tests.

It must have been a temporary glitch, perhaps at the Hulu site. StreamFab.log attached containing new downloads of HouseBroken S02E07 in both x264 and x265. Both were successful this time and both were at 1080p.

Agreed, must have been a temporary glitch with Hulu. I just downloaded Grey's Anatomy S19E20 at 1080p x265. All good again!
