New Version 6.1.2.9 Netflix fails

Please can someone help me? I downloaded 6.1.2.9. I am trying to download Breaking Bad. Can someone please tell me what setting works, I am totally lost. I had an issue with Season 1. It fails. I tried several settings in the Setting panel and none seem to work.

when you installed the new version, did you try rebooting your computer ??

Is it every season, every episode?

In your screen shot you have S04E04 that failed, I was able to download that one fine but it did tell me it downloaded different than I requested. I installed 6.1.2.9 this morning using the off-line installer.

VIP Settings:
Video Format: MKV (MKVToolNix)
Video Resolution: Full HD - 1080p

The following check boxes selected:
Audio Channel: Multi 5.1 (EAC3/AC3)
Subtitle: Remux into file
Always download forced subs
pre-select Description aduio if available
Pre-Select boht 5.1 and 2.0 audios

Netflix Settings
Audio Codec: Atmos
Video Codec: H265 - SDR
H264 Profile: Main

From the download selections pop up, when I selected S04E04, I selected
Resolution: 1920x1080 - 5147 kbps - 2.1GB
Lang: (all 4 English selected)
Subtitles: (all 2 English selected)


When the download completed I got:

My settings are as follows- I cant get it to work and I do not get maessage as you did. No download at all just failure, is this how it works?

Settings are basically the same as mine.. Differences are:

I have box checked for Pre-Select Description Audio if Available, you don't. I can't imagine this makes a difference.

Audio Codec: I have Atmos, you have EAC3.

I notice you said you don't want MKV, you want Mp4, so I just changed that on mine, its downloading downloaded fine, and gave me that same pop-up message.


The pop-up is because I have H265-SDR set on the VIP Settings, and it downloaded H264. They added that notification to let us know when download doesn't match what we selected.

Mine still fails completely. Can you please just try and download Season 1 Ep 4 and tell me if the setting I have picked is failing for you?

when you choose MP4, try choosing AAC audio and see if the show will download.

Does it work for you? I did choose 640kbp/s and it failed 20 times, I tried other settings and it also failed. Look at this screenshot, doesn't it seem odd that its 474.22mbs for 1080p? No H265. H264 chosen. Netflix is completely broken for me, I cannot download anything in any settings.

Set as MP4, and Netflix section as EAC3/H265-SDR/MAIN, and selecting the 2 English ORIGINAL audio tracks, No Subs,

S01E04 fails. Again, S04E04 downloads fine.

One thing I notice in your screen shot... you see 19120x1080p 1395 kbps I don't see that in my drop down list. I'm connecting to Netflix USA, no VPN. Are you connecting to the same?

Is it EVERY episode that is failing? or just S01E04?


EDIT: Set my way... ATMOS/H265-SDR/Main and selecting ALL English subs and audio tracks, S01E4 downloads fine as MKV or MP4. However it does come down as H264/EAC3 and I get the pop-up I posted earlier.

Can you try my settings?

Thank you mr Joe, yes everything is failing, everything in Netflix. I will try your exact settings and get back to you, I really appreciate your big help. Can any decipher this changelog?

New: Some improvements on the Netflix Downloader module:
- Added the “1080p if available†option in the video resolution dropdown menu to download 1080p versions if available when download multiple seasons of a TV show.
- Added the “Netflix Audio Codec†option at the Settings panel > VIP Services.

does download still fail if you install an older version of streamfab ??

I am going back to the last version, which worked fine. No update for me. Thanks to everyone who helped me, let's see if others have my issues, if not I guess I am out of luck.
