Forced Subs are NOT Forced Subs

In downloading a popular series on Netflix, I made sure the English Forced Narrative was selected.
The resulting MKV file though, the Forced Narrative is not set as forced. Not sure which version broke this, have not downloaded anything with forced subs in awhile.

The "download forced subs" toggle has been broken for over a year, I am not referring to this. I force the program to analyze the episode, I select English Forced Narrative, the resulting file requires I edit it to enable the forced flag.

Thanks, but have not tried that because subs and MP4 has its own slew of problems.

Please offer us more info: title name, screenshot of the option you pick and the streamfab.log file, thanks.

            Explanation:

            We have 3 issues here...
            • Track Order
            • Default Flag
            • Forced Flag
Not sure when it was broken but StreamFab used to mark the track with the orange triangle as the Default track for that type of track. It used to work for Audio tracks and Subtitles tracks. Now it sets the 1st track displayed in the drop-down as the Default track. It also sets the track order by what is displayed in the drop-down.

The way it SHOULD work is:
            • The track with the orange triangle should be set as the first track of that kind
            • The track with the orange triangle should be set as the default track of that kind
            • The [ForcedNarrative] track that is the same language as the audio track should be set as forced
            • If there are more than 1 audio track, the [ForcedNarrative] track that is the same language as the audio track with the orange triangle should be set as forced

This is the behavior when using FFmpeg as the MKV muxer. When using MKVToolnix as the muxer, Every single track is set as default. So, IMHO, that is even worse.

How about the TV series FUBAR?
Try episode 1. I download English Forced narrative, the resulting MKV does not have that track forced enabled. I have to edit the mkv with mkvtoolnix and enable that field to YES.

OK, it has been passed to the QA team and the developers along with the one posted by jpp72.
                  Thanks both.
