HULU problems downloading - too many streams error

Recently started getting an error trying to download from HULU. Specifically Bachelorette and Gordon Ramsey's Food Stars. Downloading gives error saying "Failure starting download, please contact us for help." or it gets stuck analyzing and finally says that it can't access the video. Occasionally, when the analysis window doesn't come up and it tries to actually play the video, it gives me the error that there are too many streams. However, if I try to play the video in a regular web browser, I have no problem.

Please clean the caches, log out of your Hulu account from all devices, and then login in StreamFab to try it again.
If still have the same problem, we will need Streamfab.log file to better check, thanks.

OK, cleared cache, logged out of all devices. Same problem - but it's only certain episodes. I can watch the episode in a regular web browser, but can't download it in Streamfab. Attached is streamfab log showing unsuccessful download of Bachelorette and successful download of Secret Invasion.

I have only seen this error if it is a new release, something just added. Happens when new episodes of existing shows are added.

Mona Maybe you could ask the developers to write a small Python script to clean the cache, it seems every time there is an issue we always have to find a way to make it work, and the way usually comes from another forum member, not from the staff. A tiny script in the settings would make it easy to clear the cache.

I thought about that, but the two episodes that are problematic are now almost a week old. Also, I have no problem watching them in a regular web browser, so I don't think that the problem is with the specific episodes.

Yeah, I had the same thing with what I originally described. The episodes were about a week old, competitor worked OK on them.
Hate to say it, but that's why I have both programs, when one doesn't work, the other hopefully does.

                The file is received.

I was able to download both the episodes that I had trouble with yesterday, so whatever it was seems to have fixed itself. Probably something that Hulu did.

The developer has the plan to add an option to clear caches
