Hello, I am trying to get SF to work on Max, but is Max currently DL 1080p?
If you have Amazon Prime..... You may want to consider subscribing to MAX..... formerly HBOMax..... through your Prime membership.....
I pay $15.99 per month..... and the advantage is..... when you download MAX videos or TV Shows..... you have all the benefits of using the Amazon Prime User Interface to do so.....
and this includes receiving 1080p resolution for almost everything you download..... in other words..... if MAX acquired it as 1080p..... you'll receive 1080p..... with no restrictions as to when it was acquired onto the MAX Catalog.....
And please.... if there is a reason not to be subscribing to MAX through an Amazon Prime membership..... I sincerely invite anyone to make that information known.....
Thanks!

I am using Youtubetv and my whole family has access to Max through it (but I am having issues signing into Streamfab because of that)
I may try it on a trial basis

When you say your "whole family"..... I assume that you have more than one computer attempting to logon.....
If that's a correct assumption..... are all the computers having the same logon problem?

The only downside that I can think of is that whatever you download from MAX through Amazon, it will count against the 100 available downloads SF allows in a 24-hour period. Using the native MAX downloader in SF gives you 200 downloads/day and doesn't touch the 100 available from Amazon.
This issue may or may not be a big deal depending on whether or not you're still trying to seed a new library (downloading in bulk) or if you're just downloading a few titles daily...

I appreciate your comment..... and can understand how that could be a concern to anyone who is dealing in larger volumes which would probably be related to those with a preference for TV series with multiple seasons/episodes.

Another advantage of going the Amazon route is the Amazon login actually works with standalone Max.
I do that to login to Max and go to the Last Chance section so i can see what will be leaving so i can download it if i already have a H264 version. I want to replace all my H264 stuff with H265. It's a huge undertaking but the last chance helps a lot in deciding what to replace and when

You are correct about seeing a new library vs supplementing an existing. I have a mature library, so now even with subscribing to Max, Paramount+, Starz, Showtime and Cinemax as Prime Channels, I don't hit the daily limit for Amazon downloader.
Another thing to consider is that if you subscribe to MAX via Amazon Prime Channels, you can still also sign into MAX on the Max Web site (pick Prime Video Channels as your TV provider) so you can also make use of SF's Max downloader. Therefore you can try SF's Max downloader first, if its not available in 1080p, then go to the Amazon module to download. OR For series where 720p might be good enough, you can just use SF's Max downloader for that, and not touch the Amazon limit.

No they are not, also not with roku or anything else.
The deal I have is , we pay for Youtube and Youtubetv, we have a family group through Google everyone in the fam group have access to watch MAX live and on demand (just like with reg Cable).
and they can also get into the Max app. sometimes they will have to send a code and they get in that way, it usually last 2 months to 3 months. I think it is their way of making sure that everyone is still in the network.
But the log in is all fine except on SF.
