Some Problems after a long time

hi,

i would like to point out a few issues and problems:


disney+

not sure if this has been mentioned here before or not. but many of the things on disney+ are not downloadable in 1080p although there was an update some time ago where it was said that now it works again. a few things seem to work but many of them don't.

crunchyroll:

amazon and youtube recently added the feature that subtitles are not automatically converted to SRT. i would like to see this feature on crunchyroll as well. crunchyroll offers subtitles in ass format and actually yt-dlp can do that too. so i don't understand here why that hasn't been added as a function yet either.

i'm sure this was mentioned here once, but i can't find the topic anymore. streamfab only gives you the option to download in one audio language. but if the video is available in several languages for aduio, you can still only select one of them.

what also bothers me for a long time is that the downloader for crunchyroll downloads things really very very very slowly. another downloader i use for crunchyroll is much faster. so the problem doesn't seem to come from me.

netflix:

in the main profile it is no longer possible to download in 720p. there is only the option for 480p and 1080p. is this on purpose or is it coming back?

paramount+:

as with crunchyroll, the download speed here is also extremely slow. unfortunately, i have no other option to switch to something else.

The 1080p works just fine. If you look at the release notes, they say it's only SOME titles and not all. It seems that only stuff added before mid-2022 is available in 1080p and even then, not all from prior to that date.

I reported something similar on the SFCBT:

This doesn't look like it's a StreamFab issue. Providers will tweak bitrates, profiles and the like all the time. No matter what people think, the High profile is better. Higher bitrates doesn't mean better quality. I wouldn't be surprised if Netflix removed the Main profile altogether in the future.

Older releases can still be downloaded in 720p on the Main Profile so that is why i think it's just Netflix adjusting things. They might do that to older releases too at some point.

If you try something like Money Heist, it still has 720p on Main.

They entered a .dmp file of old keys in that one version. The file was downloaded to Github. I saw it also. It was old stuff as jpp72 said.
