6.1.3.8 (Win): Incomplete or Failed Downloads on www3.nhk.or.jp

I've been downloading episodes of Japanology Plus from their free site, but a few of the episodes download as incomplete files that will not play. I have links to the faulty ones below with a good link for comparison. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

When downloading, the Full HD 1080p option for each episode shows 2.06GB for the file size (good or bad links). The actual downloaded size is somewhere around 2.01GB for downloads that work. The faulty downloads, which show as complete, are much smaller in file size for the same Full HD 1080p download. I also tried changing MKV to MP4 for the download...just in case. No change.

I can confirm your problem. I was not able to download the bad links and I was able to download the one good link with StreamFab. Since these are all non-DRM files I was able to use other non-DRM streaming downloaders to download the files that you said could not be downloaded by StreamFab. The one limitation that I found with the bad links was that the top resolution was 720p.
Please upload your StreamFab.log to the staff so they can have a look at it.

Thanks, Cats4U. I will do all of the above when I get a chance. I thought I tried selecting a lower resolution just in case that was the source of the problem (i.e., StreamFab misidentifying the max resolution as you suggested), but it failed on those, too. More details to follow...in a day or so.
