Streamfab MAX Downloader U.S.

I cannot get the MAX downloader to download HDR10 or Dolbyvision. It worked great when it was HBOMAX but since the update it doesn't work. I have the Premium package with MAX and can watch the HDR stuff just not download. I am setting the downloader to HDR10 or Folbyvision and nothing. Am I doning something wrong or does this not work at this time?

You are not doing anything wrong it will only download 720p.

Says "Download directly from Max streaming website with a quality of up to 4K/1080p and AC3 5.1 audio" near the top.

And lower on the page says "Download 4K UHD movies with HDR10 or Dolby Vision"

I haven't been able to download from Max higher than 720p, and before that HBOMax was also limited. And definitely stopped doing 4k.

Are there any plans to fix this soon? or do you think you will you change the web site to reflect the current capabilities??

I will second that, lying to prospective customers is not a good practice. In fact, it's tantamount to stealing. Nice post KidJoe.

Your best bet right now is to subscribe to MAX through amazon prime and get 1080p from MAX that way. It's what I've been doing. I got tired of waiting.

That thread is not related to what I posted other than to reinforce what I said. That SF doesn't download from MAX at 1080p or 4K.

And no one from the FAB team ever posted there to acknowledge or say they are working on it or such.

It's still unknown if/when it will be fixed.

That means currently the Web site selling the product isn't accurate because it lists downloading at 1080p and 4K/HDR/DV, which the MAX downloader currently doesn't do.

And the thread link I added via edit doesn't list MAX, only HBOMax which is no longer in the USA and select regions. And before HBO Max left USA, it didn't work at 1080p or 4k as listed in the first post of that thread.
