StreamFab APV v6.1.3.6+: Enumerating episodes with a counter instead of metadata

StreamFab used to list the episodes numbers properly. Like if there are 20 episodes and episodes 9 and 10 are missing, it would show from 1 to 8 and then 11 to 20.

Although it still shows 18 episodes, they are now numbered 1 to 18 so 1 to 8 are ok but then Episode 11 is numbered as being episode 9, episode 12 is episode 10, and so on.

This makes it difficult to find and download the episode you want if you don't download the entire season.

The resulting downloaded file has the proper numbers so obviously that is due to the metadata. StreamFab should use the metadata for episode numbers. They already use the metadata for episode titles in the download window.

In StreamFab, A Series of Unfortunate Events should be episode 6. Not episode 5.

    Steps to reproduce

You need a subscription to the Paramount+ Channel
    • On Amazon US, search for The Challenge Season 32
    • Click on it to Analyze
    • Compare episode numbers from StreamFab with episode numbers in a browser.

Excellent catch! You just amaze me in how you find this stuff. Maybe it's because my eyesight is shot. Still waiting for my cataracts to ripen. Like my mother always used to tell me, "Don't ever get old."

lol it's probably because i download sooooo much that i encounter all scenarios. But yeah i am very good a spotting issues. Even with my developers, when i review their work, i catch stuff right away. They kinda forget that although i am now a manager, i still code for some of our bigger clients so my skills are still sharp
