6.1.4.1 Good Update Adds HEVC back to Netflix Thank you Wilson and Staff.

With all the complaining going on ( me too) I think when something is done well it should be mentioned. I would take this moment to give thanks to the development staff for taking the time to add H265 (HEVC) back to Netflix. It's important to me as I do not have a ton of disk space and it saves 30% on file sizes and that to me is very good. Thank you

EDIT - I posted this in haste, at the end of all my downloads I received a message saying that H265 was not available and HDR10 were not available, the best quality they can muster is H264 and no HDR10.

Seconded! I don't use Netflix at present, but the 6.1.4.1 update fixes 2 other problems that affected me. The "Error 313" problem that 6.1.4.0 had with downloading videos that were already in the download queue and the problem with seeing episodes >25 on Amazon caused when Amazon made changes to thir web site. Well done.

I am afraid I got too carried away, at the end of the downloads I got messages saying that the best quality was H264 and no HDR 10. But thanks anyway. What a letdown, I do apologize for this.

What show are you trying to download? I just downloaded the new season of Selling the OC that was released today and i go it in H265.

Older shows that i have downloaded with StreamFab in H265 HDR are still not downloading in H265 with recent version though.

Of course, there is still the bug where i choose only 5.1 audio and it downloads both 5.1 and 2.0 audio...



I am a Delivery Manager and if i were in charge of the delivery of StreamFab, i would fire my QA team. But to do that, you need to have a QA team
