Yes, this is true, can you share what DNS proxy you are using that does work? Anything is better than a VPN that doesn't do what bought for.

I use 3 of them just because it's so cheap but my default one is GetFlix.com, I stopped using SmartDNSProxy.com because their support is worse than a certain Chinese company we all know.
I actually just started the free trial of dns4me.com today and i like the fact that they support a ton of sites and you can set the region individually. Most DNS services give you something like 4 channel groups and you set the region of each group. So you wouldn't be able to say have Discovery+ USA but FoodNetwork Canada. With dns4me, you can.
