Max Max (HBO Max) Something Went Wrong

I was able to download movies the past day or so with my new Max account. After the movies were finished downloading, I noticed I wasn't seeing forced subtitles with 10,000BC so I went back in to see if I could re-download and check for forced subtitles. I am getting this message. I uninstalled Streamfab, no fix. I cleared my cache, no fix. I have the current version, no fix. Anyone else have this problem and have a solution?

First.....your screenshots looks like you are having two problems. You usually get those two screenshots when you are not logged into the new Max but rather the old HBOMax. After you uninstalled Streamfab and cleared your cache, did you restart your system and relog back into Max?

When you say forced, subtitles are you saying regular subtitles? Don't remember 10,000 BC as having forced titles and Streamfab's download of it doesn't indicate that there are forced subtitles available, just subtitles......are you not getting any subtitles to download with that movie at all? Have you tried any other movies from Max since getting that error? I tried downloading that movie from Max in checking and not getting any issues as noted.

Down2Earth, I am logged into Max. HBOMax no longer works and will direct me to Max, but yes, I am logged into Max, not HBO. I have restarted and logged back in with the same issue with any movie. I have the $10/mo plan. It happens to anything I want to download through Streamfab.

10,000BC has a few parts where there are forced subtitles. I can see them when I watch the movie online (not through Streamfab). My settings were set to have forced exported as an srt file as the other way wasn't working for me.

what are you using to playback the movie with ??
have you tried VLC media player and see if the subtitles show ?
scan the movie with mediainfo and see what that says.

Hi October262, I am using VLC to play the movie. Subtitles do not show. I do not know what you mean about scanning with mediainfo.
I am still having issues even downloading anything with MAX with Streamfab.

mediainfo is a free tool to show & tell the details of the video file like subtitles, video codecs etc. - https://www.videohelp.com/software/MediaInfo

Scanning with Mediainfo is just a figure of speech to look at the text using Mediainfo. With the link October262 posted, download the Mediainfo app, it will install as an' Extension'. Go to the downloaded 10,000 BC movie wherever you downloaded it at on your computer and right click on the thumbnail movie. Mediainfo will open up, to see text of subtitles, codecs...etc of what was downloaded go to the 'View' tab and in this case, you want to go down to the 'Text' section and for this movie there were no 'Forced' subtitles that were downloaded that you will see.

Like I noted in my first post it's not available to download with Streamfab through Max. (BTW forced subtitles is also not available with the competition using Max)

You not being able to download anything from Max at all is something totally different and would attach a Streamfab log to see if they can see what changed with you using Max.

Thank you October262 and Down2Earth for the help. I will take a look at Mediainfo.

I did attach my log with my first post so we will see if someone can take a look at this.

This may not be specifically the same issue, but Max subtitles in general have been broken for a bit, so it wouldn't surprise me if this might be related (assuming the only issue you are having is specifically subtitle related).
Max is still showing the remux subtitles out of order at the start, then after about 8 minutes playing none at all, on The Gilded Age and Meg 2 (also not showing forced on it either), on Doom Patrol (not showing till last 8 minutes of episodes), also a few more. Both are checked before download and when playing back show on

I've given up on max getting 4k and 1080p back using competitors software which now has 4k again

Appreciate the added information. I have noticed AppleTV also has forced subtitles but SF does not. More of what I would like fixed is being able to download with Max.

Max works fine, only in 720p.

I don't know what Max has against me but I get that error in the picture in my original post. What do you have that I am missing?
