    Amazon 6162 won't grab H265

I had to roll back versions. Went from 6159 to 6162 and it is downloading h264 instead of h265, even though h265 is selected.
This logfile is from 6159 with a successful h265 download. Do you need another log from 6162 showing only a h264 download? I suspect you can see what I am trying to get and test it yourself (?)

The update also appears to disable h265 on Hulu.
If I were to guess, it disables h265 on every service.
For now I guess I am good with 6159 as I have not been affected yet.

      Really seems like that

This has been going on for ages now, they give you what they think is good for you not what you have chosen in the settings.

DON'T USE 6.1.6.2 !! They should have stopped at 6.1.6.1 and continued to work on getting the DRM issue fixed. Instead, they came out with their bogus re-encoding in 6.1.6.2. It didn't work the first time they tried using it during another DRM crisis. And it is not working now. It is causing, as much, if not more, problems as the DRM issue. I refuse to work on any re-encoding issues. DON'T USE 6.1.6.2 !!

This is your endorsement to at least use 6161? What you are saying is they broke h265 on 6162?

I thought it was odd the filesize of 6162 was smaller than 6159.
