StreamFab for Windows StreamFab 6.1.6.6 - Still no Solution for the DRM Problems

Now another update for StreamFab was released today, after there was no update for over 1 week and then only minor bugs were fixed.

The actual DRM problems, which have existed for several weeks now, have still not been fixed.

It should be in the developers' interest to take care of these core problems.

After all, we paid for the basic functions of StreamFab, but have been unable to download newer videos from Amazon and Netflix in 1080p for some time now.

They don't seem to have hope for new ChromeCDM soon.. let‘s see how long it‘s gonna be before someone cracks the new ChromeCDM and is willing to sell it to them.

They are probably working as hard as they can and have asked NUMEROUS times to be patient. It doesn't help if everybody keeps whining about it. The Developers are also in another country with different holidays and other commitments. Give them a break!

My frustration is that we had some days when there was a clear message that clearly states (must I say CLEAR again?) that the DRM situation had not been resolved. I would really really really like to see a message like that, rather than continually downloading and installing new version, that still have not resolved the issue. I can be patient, but being informed really helps us be patient.

Anytime I see a live update alert and a fixed xx xx due to DRM change, I get excited for a second. It's even the first line of the What's New page.
I remain patient still, sometimes SF fixes issues before RF does, it's still part of the game.
Anyone here remember the days when 4K disc came out and the outlook on that? Then when AACS 2.1 ?

For people who have Fab365, will their subscription be extended by 1 month (or whatever) to compensate for the lack of usability for this time period.

You should be happy that it is Chinese who are developing the program. Europeans or Americans would leave their office and go home after 8 hours at the latest... It would take twice as long for updates to come...

Yes, since mid-January, there have been numerous issues such as:

                  - Netflix fails during download attempts
                  - Amazon Prime "Failure analyzing video content"
                  - Hulu never finishes analyzing video content
                  - Apple TV+ only downloads 480p resolution
                  - Disney+ downloads are also low resolution

Still true using StreamFab x64 Version 6.1.6.6

When can we expect an update that corrects these issues?

They extended a broken program for 1 month so we can use this broken program for another month, how nice.

This has never been better and it was never promised.

Probably on a Thursday after the problem has been solved

And the lifetime users simply have to live a month longer

Analysis works fine. Old content will download at 1080p and new content at 480p

Hulu is one of the modules that is back to fully functional, including new content

It has been like this since November 1st 2021. It's the same for competitors too due to what Apple allows with a browser.

What is low resolution? 720p? That is again because of limitations set forth by Disney+. Been like this from the get go and same story with competitor's tool.
