What doesn't work? No stroke for me, I'm just trying to figure out how this company does the most asinine things and still has remained in business this long. No stroke, just laughter at the insanity of it all. Amazon, MAX, Netflix, Peacock and others are still screwed up by DRM, but we get...

The developers and the Mods have a huge disconnect. I don't want to panic anyone here, but I do not believe they can fix this new DRM. Was MAX ever fixed, was it ever 1080p I haven't used them for a long time.
This is what I do not understand on the banner.

      * Netflix content added after January 25th, 2024 cannot be downloaded at all. It is back to normal for everything else.
You say New titles after January 25th cannot be downloaded at all. Understood. This is the part I can't understand. It is back to normal for everything else. Back to normal would imply that everything else is 1080p. But this is not the case. I can't get any better than 540p. So is 540p the new normal, it is certainly implied. It certainly was not normal before the new DRM came calling. What part of "Everything else is back to normal am I not understanding? Is 540p back to normal, if so then either I am mixed up or the wording in that banner must be changed to Netflix's new normal is 540p.

I'm getting 1080p from Netflix today (Miraculous season 1), so not all older content is 540p, if that's what you mean.

Why not? Old releases works for me in FHD without interruption.

Known exception: Sony + Universal title, because NF not offers

Maybe what I tried was ll Sony titles, I have to go back and look, but it certainly is not back to normal.

What does all of this even mean?
There have been no new releases that specifically say they accomplished any of this. The banner up top suggests most modules are fixed, but again, no changelog in any new versions that states that. I doubt it was a server side fix.

What's wrong with the infos in the banner?

I assume that this was not created based on the changelogs,
but based on personal tests (sample1, sample2) and reports from the forum.

Jack personally tested all the listed entries in the banner, and so we feel that they are correct. The only additional one I'd like to see added to the banner, and was personally tested by me, was Peacock. That's being held up, by us, because we can't get a confirmation back from the Developers as to where it stands. But we know where it stands, videos before Feb. 22 are downloadable. On or after Feb. 22 are not downloadable.

Again, there have been no changelogs indicating any of them were fixed. And I never got the recent email from them either.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that DRM fixes are server-side. I still use the 6161. And I can download new things in 1080p from RTL+. But it could also be a coincidence.

6.1.6.4's changelog lists most of them. Jack then tested them before adding them to the banner.
