Download from Joyn.de are very slow

    StreamFab for Windows Download from Joyn.de are very slow

    Hey, I noticed that the download speed of Joyn.de is very slow.

    No matter which Video I download from there, the download speed is always around 1MB/s.

    On the other hand, when I download from Amazon, I have the full download speed.

    I have also noticed that the download from Joyn in SF happens in segments.

    As far as I know, the fastest way to download from Joyn is with yt-dlp and aria2c.​

    You already stated in other posts you bought the competitor they have Joyn also and it works fine, why don't you just use that, they don't use other freeware to download Joyn.

      Because I only have the Basic Version of the competitor and Joyn is only included there in an expensive Plus Version.

        They don't sell the basic version anymore, do they?

          No, you can now only buy the Plus Version there.

          However, I had purchased a License there 1,5 Years ago and at that time the Basic Version was still available.

          Now I had renewed my old License, but only the Basic Version without Joyn support​.

            The Joyn module has always been different from Amazon's. I would say that Joyn's is older and Amazon's is a bit more modern. What might help is to restart streamfab regularly and delete the temporary files, make sure there aren't too many qcef processes active, they sometimes hang.

              HLS video will always download in segments and then be re-assembled by the software.

              Even on VPN here in the US, I get 1Mbps. It may be the way the streaming service is set up.
