6.1.6.7 was the last version I noticed didn't re-encode which is why I stuck with that until the episode bug cropped up and I had no choice but to update. SF now sits in a dusty corner of my HDD.

The re coding starts from 6162. I just tried downloading HBogo videos using 6161, and the result is the same as 6169. When downloading most of the videos, it still stays in the analysis stage forever. Starting from 6170, nothing can be downloaded anymore

Just tested it: Paid for it, but did not work in any way. since almost 3 months no working drm mpd downloader, because it is not recognizing and analysing streams.
So i revert, as usual, back to at least 6169, maybe one earlier and wait until next year... promised 48hours support has not loaded logs or responsed to this thread. Thats a fact. I'm sorry going back to old versions which ironically works better than optimized new ones.
The problem is just two things:
a handful of hours to record (for repetitive tv-shows just in a week out of stock (empty))
and an expiration date for the records (for me 60 days)
which makes this very urgent to have a working 6175 as 6169 do, so my question, what was working in 6169 what in 6175 dont? Logs say "i do not analyze your streams, even if they're obvious right before the eye"
Sorry, but i am waiting for a simple switch (i guess its simple) which makes analyzing mpd's working again.

This software is already paralyzed, no one is managing it!

I hope they will pay attention to it. This seems to be a lousy part of bad code ("ignoring link because its double read"), i hope they will fix these "ignoring links" whatever the program is making or made (double read or not)

This is already the norm in streamfab. I have already provided feedback on this issue before, and the response I received was that they would check the issue, but in fact, they did not check the problem at all. For example, the download issues of viu.com and viu.tv, I cannot remember how many times I have reported it, at least half a year ago. The official response was that they had already reported it to the technical department or were currently solving the problem. However, when I asked them when they could solve the problem, they replied that they did not know. In fact, not only these few websites, including many websites that support downloading on the official website, are actually not downloadable. Even if I have reported it countless times to the official, it is useless. The response I received was that they have already reported it to the technical department or are currently solving the problem. In fact, they haven't checked and fixed the problem at all. Whether the website will be fixed depends entirely on the mood of streamfab. They can fix it if they want, and if they don't want to fix it, they don't fix it. This is mystical and unpredictable

In fact, some download issues are not caused by the DRM upgrade on January 25, 2024, but by other software issues. However, when you give feedback to the official, they will attribute it to the DRM upgrade on January 25, 2024,They will tell you that the problem is being solved, please be patient and wait, then there will be no further action,They are solving the problem, it's just a lie

i hope i will get response to my issues, and hope they will fix it. Log-file say something about "ignoring link, because already loaded" or something... if that can be fixed, it could the way to the goal.

I have also encountered the same problem as you and have provided feedback many times, but the official has not solved the problem yet
