BTW: I was under the impression that Max was back to 720p even for old stuff. That is not the case. I am able to download stuff prior to the Widevine change in 1080p, H265 DV/HDR10 and even some stuff in 4k

When I posted about that a while back, see-> https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/softwa...for-some-shows i used the series Last Week Tonight and Gold Rush to determine 720p started around Dec 8, 2023 or so. Back then, we started seeing the "DRM Change" message pop up when the download started, and you got 720p no matter what resolution was selected. Its been that way since.

Since then, older movies like The Dark Knight and Blue Beetle still download from Max at up to 4K, while content added after about December 8-12, 2023 time frame, is stuck at 720p.

I hadn't complained much about it as I was downloading from Max as a Prime Channel to get 1080p, and switched back to Anystream when the Jan DRM change hit Amazon and Fab couldn't fix it.

I guess that's all good for new people buying the program, they can get old stuff. What about us, the people that already have all the old stuff, there is new stuff coming out every day. I guess we are the losers.

• Output template: When file name is too long, if you select automatically rename output video, it uses the last part of the URL. Some providers like Max and Hulu use sids and not friendly permalinks so the name means nothing.

Instead, StreamFab should just remove some of the tokens. It should start with the Episode Title and go down a list of things to remove if the name is still too long. Suggested order should be:

1. Episode Title
2. Video Codec
3. Resolution
4. Audio Codec

But HBOMax hasn't transitioned to Max in all areas. So Fab can't remove HBOMax yet. Imagine living in Belgium, where Max wont come online until July 1, and having HBOMax removed now.

Maybe after the full change from HBOMax to Max in all areas is completed, Fab can remove the HBOMax downloader. Until then they need to keep it.

• The download speed display in the module is incorrect. It is displayed as twice as high as it actually is.

• RTL+ offers two different bitrate models. One is fixed and one is variable. The fixed ones are correct. The variables are completely wrong.

• Output template, If a file is loaded twice. The file is named with only a 1. Correctly it should only add a 1 and not replace everything with 1.
