Ok, so jpp72 posted about issues with the File Name Template for TV Shows here -> https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/softwa...e14#post443442

    I added my experience...

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver episodes (Max Amazon Prime Channel) come down as this...

Click image for larger version Name:	image.png Views:	0 Size:	10.6 KB ID:	443465

It was the same when when I had my custom templates in there.

Then again, it may be series dependent....

    Hogan's Heroes (Amazon freevee)

Click image for larger version Name:	image.png Views:	0 Size:	10.3 KB ID:	443466

That is how I'd expect it.
As a follow up.... I tried downloading Real Time with Bill Maher, S22E17 came down as:

May 31, 2024_ John Waters, David Axelrod, Ken Buck.mkv

Notice the 3rd line, Episode Name Change? The log entries for the Last Week episode also has that.

Also lines 9 through 14 having the wrong stats about the file. They are all wrong, its 1080p, H265, with EAC3 5.1 audio

So is this a problem due to the info SF gets from Amazon? or a bug in SF processing what Amazon sends?

SF Processing. It's the same shit for Hulu. I only download H265 1080p and everything is named as H264 720p AAC

I reported it many times in the zoom chat and Wilson isn't bothered. He'll get to it after he tells the devs to add a downloader for <Insert Obscure Non-English Porn Site>

Until its fixed, have you consider using mediainfo cli to get the parameters and rename yourself? A batch file could be written.

make a temp.txt in the folder containing
      Code:
      Video;%Width%x%Height% x %HDR_Format/String% --
      Audio;%Format% : %BitRate/String%
      then execute the following:
      Code:
      mediainfoCLI --Inform=file://temp.txt "movie.mkv"
      for example, outputs:

      1920x1080x--E-AC-3 : 224 kb/s

Now, i do have that %HDR_Format/String% in there which gets tricky. If there is no DV or HDR it returns blank. If there is DV or HDR, it returns the profile info like "Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 5, dvhe.05.06, BL+RPU" You can remove that x %HDR_Format/String% if you want.

I made a file renamer flow for Power Automate Desktop which uses MediaInfo CLI to pull those values from the file and rename them similar to the one I made for when downloading using Anystream (although obviously my renamer for SF doesn't doesn't need to remux). So it converts that HDR_Format string to DV, DV+HDR or HDR based on the profile string.

        then execute the following:
        Code:
        mediainfoCLI --Inform=file://temp.txt "movie.mkv"
        for example, outputs:

I use the rename functions in Sonarr. The codec, HDR, resolution or any of that doesn't matter to me as Sonarr will rename it properly. What matters to me is having the Season folders and the proper episode number too. I also append either "WEB-DL-StreamFab <module>" or "WEB-DL-AnyStream <provider>" so when i replace the Scene release by one i downloaded with either software, Sonarr knows the source and where/how i downloaded it from.

I used mediainfo exactly like you said many years back but i don't have the need for it anymore as Sonarr handles it all. When i go into a show, i can see all those details:

My script renames the SF downloads adding the Plex "edition" tags to include where it was downloaded from, if its 4K and HDR or DV, and add the resolution to the file name. I just run it after SF completes downloads. Then move the folders to my Plex server.

I really only have the small need to add the edition tags to know if its a DL and from where, or a disc rip. the resolution and if its HDR/DV.

I haven't looked at Sonarr, I don't know what it does. Maybe I should check it out.
