Just because it works before you buy it, that has nothing to do with whether it will work after you buy it. Without a doubt, I absolutely guarantee that at some point, sooner or later, it will not work for you in some way. It's a simple fact that streaming sites do not want you to download the videos that they make available for watching. They regularly perform changes to their sites in order to prevent SF from doing downloading. This is the cat-and-mouse game that long-standing users are well aware of. What makes it worse is that StreamFab only updates their program, usually, once a week, which results in extended non-working time. On the other hand, the former program AnyStream would start work immediately on a fix and sometimes restored service in a few hours. I won't even go into comparing the quality of the developers doing the fixing. Knowing that SF took almost half a year to solve a DRM change that affected most of the major streamers should be enough to scare anyone away. You and anyone else considering buying StreamFab should be nervous.

One thing I wish now that I implemented while I was a Moderator was to make all messages from New Members have to be approved before they are posted. Some people just don't understand that posting the same things 5 times while hijacking other user's threads is not proper forum etiquette.
Jack, if you are still around, please, do what needs to be done here.

Yes, I know that. That wasn't my point.

Yes, this isn't Facebook. This is a support forum. If you are having an issue, start your own thread.

            He did. Twice.
Hello, I just updated to 6.1.8.9. Is there any extra steps I need to take for DRM M3U8 to start working again? When I copy and paste the url in home, the video will play, but the popup menu to choose video options doesn’t come up now. Thank you

Thank

Then he hijacked 2 other threads (including yours) that had nothing to do with M3U8

I made the second thread because I thought I added it to the wrong category. I didn’t see option to delete the first one.

If you can't download from Amazon, you're doing something wrong, because everyone else can. The program is fixed and working well.

Sure, because I don't know how to press a few buttons. The last version downloaded fine. The latest one does not. "Works for me, so it must work for you" comments are idiotic and insulting. I guess I won't be buying the software this weekend. Besides, it is NOT working for everyone. Other people in this very thread of the same error I did with the same title.
