    RTL+ Issues downloading from RTL+ [Errorcode : -9999]

    Hello all,

    I am having issues downloading from RTL+ using StreamFab on Windows.

    I start the download, Streamfab analyses the Episode, gets the amount of segments, video quality, & audio format, but then never actually starts downloading and instead cancels the download after a few seconds giving "Errorcode : -9999".

    I have had this issue now for probably more than a month over multiple software versions. I am currently on version 6.1.9.3 (the most current one).

    I have tried downloading with a different payed RTL+ account and with & without a VPN, both didn't help.

    Downloading from other platforms like Disney+ does btw. work.

    RTL+ is regionlocked to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

    The following is a screenshot of the download pop-up and a screenshot of my relevant VIP settings as requested in here.

    I have also attached a shortened Logfile (edit: apparently attaching the file the way I wanted to didn't work. I did upload it to swisstransfer now, I hope that is fine. As I am new to the forum someone will have to explain to me how to do this properly) . Yes, I know, it is supposed to be unedited, but that one is almost 500MBs large and Word wouldn't even open it. This one should hopefully have all the relevant error messages in it.

    I'd be really thankful if someone could help me.

    thanks

    Code:
    [Critical]: QtDownloadTask::onError : errorString :Host vodnowusoawsdash-a.akamaihd.net not found, code : 3

    Open Settings => Proxy and change from SOCKS4 to Direct

    This is a bug (only) after Upgrade from SF 618x to SF 619x - see here

    If, contrary to expectations, this does not work, then here

        From one day to the next, I suddenly had the very same problem with RTL+ and was wondering what went wrong (SF 9.1.9.2 WinVersion).

        THIS did the trick! I would NEVER have found out by myself.... THANKS, Germania, great job.
