StreamFab for Windows StreamFAB Picture (stills) folders taking a lot of space

Trying to free up some space on my hard drive, I noticed two StreamFAB image folders that are eating up a lot of space. Granted this is probably only an issue if you have a fair share of downloads.

One is: C:\Users\”username”\Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\Tem p\MetaPicture
This contains time stamps of every video downloaded and is the larger of the two folders. I’d really like to clean this up and think it would be okay since its under Documents, but I’m not sure if it would affect StreamFAB in some way.

The other is C:\Users\”username”\AppData\Roaming\DVDFab\StreamF ab\localdata\picture
I think these images are used in the Downloading/Downloaded sections of SteamFAB, since they are organized by streaming platform. I’m guessing deleting the task will clear these, but I haven’t tried that yet. I like having the list of whats been downloaded, and the info about the download, but don’t really need the previews.

Any insight confirming the function of these folders and if its okay to clean them up without affecting StreamFAB is appreciated!

MetaPicture is used for cover in the downloaded files ..

(otherwise you can delete the content after remux finished)

I think (I'm not at home) that localdata\picture is used for thumbnails in SF itself.

users-main-appdata-roaming-dvdfab-streamfab-localdata-picture-amazon
and
users-main-documents-dvdfab-streamfab-temp-metapicture
are ok to delete.

I appreciate the information about the MetaPicture folder. Since these images are used for the cover, once the video file is finished it makes sense they are no longer be needed and okay to clear out. Thanks too for the link on how to prevent them from being generated or used in the video files, that's very helpful.

As for the localdata\picture folder, it fits that is used for thumbnails in StreamFAB the way it is structured.

That was a great find to that older thread, I wish I would've found it in my search. Seems like the temp MetaPicture folder should be automatically clearing out but isn't. But its good to know both folders okay to delete!

Hopefully this may help others that aren't aware of how large these folders can get and reclaim some space, mine was over 10 GB.
