    Paramount+ Cannot sign into Paramount+ part 2

StreamFab Version, Platform, and OS: v6.2.0.0, Win x64, Windows 11 Pro
    Region/Country: USA

    Steps to reproduce the issue:

Logging into Paramount+ still does not work, error from the site received is 'There was an error while processing your request. Please try again later'. There was a thread a few days ago about the same problem, author claimed Malwarebytes was the issue. I am having the same issue, and I don't use Malwarebytes. I've disabled my own antivirus (NOD32) and tested, did not help. I had this problem with v6.1.9.9 as well.

    Log:

I can login to Paramount+ just fine in a regular browser on the same machine.

I can only say that when I successfully log in to P+ in USA with SF 6200 ..
.. I have the same errors in the log
    Code:
[Log]: error curl post: Timeout was reached
[Log]: Error: there is no available url
[Critical]: command: request server command failed
So there is no difference in the log for a successful login ..
.. and therefore I cannot see what is going wrong with you

Open the "Hamburger Menu" (3 lines top right) select Settings
    - look where is your Temp Directory, close SF
    - open the Temp Directory - there is subdirectory cache
    - delete (or rename) this - like here

If the login still does not work, close SF and rename the entire temp directory

      Attach the entire log.
Delete the existing StreamFab.log from your Log directory. Run the ONE download that you are having problems with. Exit StreamFab. Do not edit this new StreamFab.log in any way. Attach your StreamFab.log to a post here on the forum. Do not send the entire log directory. Do not send any other file but StreamFab.log. If you follow these instructions, there is no need to compress the file using ZIP, RAR, or any other compressor program.

After going through your streamfab.log, I have to agree with Germania that I don't see anything obviously wrong. I'm not having any problem in any way with Paramount+ myself. The only thing I can offer you is the suggestion to do a clean install (See the sticky section at the top of this forum for instructions). Failing that, send Feedback via the Menu in the StreamFab program.

As previous reported in the now closed thread about 12 days ago. Going back to at least 6.1.9.8 after doing clean installs of streamfab it sometimes takes me quite a few trues to sign on to Paramount+. Other times it logs me on the first try. I tend to get a bit frustrated when it takes more than a half dozen tries.

When I login through Firefox I, so far, always succeed on the first try.

My clean installs consist of deleting the temp, log and taskdata files then uninstalling using Revo Uninstall Pro. Then running CCleaner's registry cleaner to remove possible entries that Revo might have missed. Then I install the new version I downloaded and saved using Revo. Reauthorize and set Streamfab up again.

Have not installed 6.2.0.0 as it does not contain any fixes that affect me. But like I said I've been experiencing the Paramount+ sign in issue since at least 6.1.9.8.

Perhaps the developer can remove the annoying popup, saying to login, that pops up while I'm already entering my Paramount+ login info.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions everyone. I'll try them out later today and report back once I have more than just a couple minutes of spare time.

Deleting the cache directory worked, I have successfully logged into Paramount+ and am able to download content.

                  Thanks again all
