Just thought I'd mention that no matter what movie or show i pick to down on Sling TV, nothing ever happens. No analyzing or anything. I don't know if this is a simple fix or not but thought I'd mention it.

First of all I did go through the forum and just over looked the topic.2nd I didn't know about time off in China as i live in the USA. and lastly, you don't have to be an ass about it.

I don't have that at the top of the forum page. All I have is the autumn sale banner. Nothing else.

It's my fault, of course, that you can't see the provider's information ..

Sorry if I expect users with more then hundred posts to know that
no SF dev searches the forum for problems with unsupported providers
and also searches first before creating a new topic.

I can't “be an ass” if I try to test it myself in my spare time
- just for the opportunity to help, when possible -
even though it doesn't matter to me at all, right?

Their holiday notice doesn't show up at the top of the forum for me either. This screenshot is the first time I have seen it.

Yeah. I think we noticed before that if you ever clicked the X to close any notification ever on this forum, you will never get another one. It is kind of dumb and there is probably some setting buried deep in the user profile, but who has time for that.

There is a slight chance it's connected to cookies for the forum site. So maybe delete all cookies connected to dvdfab sites.
I knew not to X it out and won't risk it, as may miss something, even though most times the info is old. There was even a user stating to remove the old info, and it was.
One thing also to ask is if you log out of the forum, does it show? This would also point more to a cookie set. Although not 100% positive, the cookie might still keep it gone even logged out.
Another way more likely to tell if it's a cookie is to use a browser you never used, or at least not on the forum. Get Firefox, or Brave or some other browser and see if the banner shows.
That would at least tell you it's the certain browser you're using, and most likely a cookie or some other issue with that browser it don't show on.
