Max Varying Resolutions of Same Show

When downloading shows from MAX I'm getting different resolutions per episode. For example, I downloaded Chernobyl today. Episodes 2,4,5 downloaded in 4K. Episodes 1 and 3 downloaded in 720p. Why would I get wildly different quality on a per episode basis? I'm using the 6202 Beta but this was true using 6202, 6201, and I believe further back as well.

For Max you only get keys to decrypt SD, HD + Audio for each episode.

A higher resolution is only possible if SF has a suitable key
for decrypting > HD in the database on the SF server.
Unfortunately, this is not the case for all episodes/films.

Should I assume they are adding new keys all the time? Do they get updated with new versions or are they stored centrally somewhere? Wondering if I can go back in 2 months and get HD versions of episodes.

so your SF version should be irrelevant
