None of thoise suggestions have any affect. The problem persists in 6.2.0.4, with anything on Paramount+.

Just a note to let you know you aren't crazy and it's not just you. I've been having the same problem for over a week.

I submitted a ticket with support that they ultimately said they'd pass to the developer, so hopefully a fix will be coming along at some point.

My best guess is that Paramount's doing some kind of A/B testing and we happen to be part of a small set of users where whatever they've done is goofing up the analyzer.

The only issue I have with Paramount+ is that the download is very very slow.

I have had the same issue as well, but what I've been able to do is after the browser window that it pops up for doing the download returns the "Sorry, this video is currently unavailable. Please try later." page I refresh it and then it works. This means I have to babysit each download, which isn't exactly fun.

Attached StreamFab and qef logs in case they're any help.

Alright, I finally figured out the original issue, with StreamFab being stuck forever "Analyzing Metadata." It's not actually StreamFab's fault, at least not for me. If your DNS provider blocks cdn.cookielaw.org then Paramount+ will fail to load all videos silently and StreamFab gets stuck.

As for how that domain ended up getting blocked in the first place, at least for me, it seems that at some point recently CloudFlare has started blocking it. No clue why and no, I don't subscribe to any special ad-blocking or other filtering products with them. I was just using the straight bare DNS server IPs.

So if you're using CloudFlare (and possibly some other DNS providers) and having problems, try switching to someone else and seeing if it starts to work.

That did not work for me. I do have a Pi-Hole setup, but both whitelisting that URL and disabling blocking entirely did not fix anything. Analyzes fine, tab when it goes to download displays the Error Code: 3005 page, refresh the tab gets the download to actually start working. On a lark I queued up an episode for download, restarted the program and started the download, but I still had the issue, so it's not simply a matter of "first time it loads video (analyzing) is good, second time (downloading) is bad".

I have the same problem with Joyn. Very slow... I suspect the modules both have the same old architecture.

                      Thanks so much for this.

Paramount+ stopped working for me a while ago. It would not get past the analyzing stage. It looked like the problem was that the internal browser was never loading the video for analysis. Opening up my internal DNS server to allow this domain got it working again.

Note that my problem was slightly different from those seeing an error. In my case, it was a perpetual analyzing loop. I left it running for over an hour one day, and the video never started playing for analysis. It was this problem that was due to domain blocking. I am using 8.8.8.8 as my external DNS server, so I am not subject to CloudFlare behavior.

Thank you so much I turned off my Pi-hole adblocker and paramount + downloaded just fine. I've been working on this for a month.

Update: it actually looks like it was the same issue kryndis described. After I changed my Pi-Hole to use Google's DNS server rather than my ISP's, problem went away.
