StreamFab for Windows Wants To Know My Location?

OK. I got really daring today, updated my Windows 11 to 24H2.
First time I run SF afterwards I get a popup stating that SF wants to know my location. Is this a bogus Microsoft popup or does SF really want to know my location? Any pros or cons to list?

screenshot of the message will help determine if it is a Windows prompt or an application prompt

what module were you trying to use?

No module, launched the app itself. Screenshot is no longer as I clicked NO. It says I can change this in the settings if I wish to.
Went into settings, saw no such option to change location settings for SF.

I would not know. I do not show that StreamFab has access to location in my 24H2 settings, and it never asked for those permissions. Only thing it ever asked for was Private/Public connection access.
Not unless the new CEF is asking for location permissions, as it is a full CEF integration in the new StreamFab.

I'm not on 24h2 yet on the system I use SF on. But my guess is it's the updated version of CEF asking for location permissions.

You can always check the privacy settings in windows and make sure it's disabled.

Thanks. Yes, w.pruitt suspects it is actually CEF asking too.
