Amazon 6.2.0.5 Downloads Prime titles in wrong resolution

If I try to download any title on Amazon Prime and select a lower resolution than the largest, it will always download the largest resolution available. Example:

Name:	streamfab1.png
Views:	328
Size:	91.0 KB
ID:	454176

    Then during download:

Name:	streamfab2.png
Views:	291
Size:	69.0 KB
ID:	454180
Yes the audio does add to the overall file size, but not by nearly tripling it!

What does the result look like? The question is whether the wrong resolution is actually being downloaded or is the display just wrong.

Only the size shows in "Downloading" is wrong

see also: Wrong file size info while downloading with 6203

and therefore the remaining time is of course also wrong

Aha! Thanks a lot for this, you are absolutely right. I let the download finish and the file has the correct size and resolution that was selected, and not what was displayed. Very weird though.

1080p is 1920x1080 (1920 horizontal pixels, and 1080 vertical pixels) - the more telling number is the 1920 part. 1920x1080 is 16:9 aspect ratio. A movie that is 1.85, or 2.0, or 2.35 or 2.4 will still have 1920 horizontal pixels but will have fewer vertical pixels, with black bars across top and bottom. A movie that is 1.85:1 aspect ratio would have about 1040 vertical pixels, a 2.35 would have about 817, and a 2.4 would have about 800.
So this film is a 2.35 widescreen version of the movie - in a 1080p resolution

This I already understand. The problem that I reported was that although I selected a "resolution" from the Resolution dropdown, a different resolution was seemingly being downloaded, however as it turns out it was just being misreported.

Hi, 6.2.0.5 with prime SF calculates a 4.7 gb file but processes a 1.8 gb one with processing that starts at 40%. The audio in Italy for all available languages is 2.0
