    StreamFab for Windows 6.2.0.8 Can't download anything from any site

    Hi,
    Since a couple of weeks I can't download anything from any site, the process starts and when finshs it gives different errors.
    I folowed the steps on the piinned post "How to do a clean install of StreamFab (Windows)" but with no luck. Still doesn't work.
    Tried MP4, MKV Toolnix and MKV ffmpeg with the same results

    This happens on Max, Netflix, Paramount, Disney, even F1tv, at any site.

    I'm on Windows 11 Pro 64b, Streamfab log attached.

    Any thoughts?

    I'm not as good reading logs now as I used to be. The Developer has added so much new (important) information that it gets me confused. One thing I did notice right off the bat was that your StreamFab Settings are saying that you are in the United Kingdom and speak English, but you are telling the various streamers that you are in Argentina and speak Spanish. Which is it? Are you using a VPN to connect? If so, have you tried a different server or a different VPN company?

      i'll confirm that... nothing works anymore, here in Germany. I'll get only 48 bytes movies after downloading as long as possible on it. 10 minutes, 20 minutes half an hour... whatever... I dont do logs, because it will change nothing, because i guess no one reads.... I am very disappointed. this module never worked 100% , never. Always sources which wont do nothing at all... lost money, i think...

        I have the UI in english, but I'm located in Argentina, and on the settings I have Spanish as default language.
        I'm not using any vpn.
        Besides that, the program was working without any issues the last past weeks with the same settings. On one of the updates (I don't remember which one) stopped working.
        That's why I'm wrintting here

            Once again you have completely missed the point ..
            .. This has nothing to do with the (repeatedly) unnamed waipu
            and it has nothing to do with the lack of support from a very specific provider with the DRM downloader.

            Apart from that, SF has not become worse in this respect, but waipu has become more complicated​

              A typical reply post from someone that has only posted 3 times. You are the only one here that has suddenly lost the ability to download from 4 major modules and one minor one. That just does not happen. It has to be something either that you are doing wrong or you have a problem with your Internet provider. Netflix, MAX, and Disney+, in particular, are supporting crackdowns on Account Sharing very strenuously now. When you say that you are in the UK and speak English, but then they find out you are in Argentina and speak Spanish, that throws up a red flag immediately.
              This is what I suggest to you... Either set your UI setting to AR/ES (preferred) or use a VPN to make it look like you are connecting in from a server in AR. Prior to that, run a full clean install. Don't skip a single line or action.

                ​The only provider in the log that was tried with 6208 is F1 TV ..
                .. and I've no subscription to test.

                Looks like they use YT videos - so I tested the Race Highlights
                works fine for me (tested via AR)

                That's why I suspect that paid content is DRM protected ..
                .. and YT DRM protected content hasn't worked for weeks.
                You're not doing anything wrong - but the forum users can't help either

                As for the other VIP services ... choose one
                rename your StreamFab.log, test a title and then post your new log
                (a comparison of 6207 log and 6208 log may have some differences)​

                  Believe me, I'm not complaining about the additional information in the logs. I welcome it. I just haven't had the time to figure out what it all means yet. Between my bypass recovery and my wife's problems (2 broken shoulders, an arthritic ankle, a fractured coccyx bone and the possibility of lung cancer) I spend most of my time in doctor's offices or hospitals. She's got a CAT scan on her coccyx today, and I've got a meeting with my coronary pharmacist tomorrow, and she has a lung biopsy later after that.

                    I don't know where you get Im on UK, and also why you have to be so rude when the only thing I tried to do is be clear on my problem, and that is why Im posting here.

                        First thing you should do is change your settings to use MKV (FFMpeg) instead of MKV (MKVToolNix)

                        If that doesn't work, I would try to maybe install the K-Lite Codec Pack and see if that fixes your issue.

                        I would imagine the Standard Edition is enough but you can go overkill and install the Mega Edition. But i would install the Standard Edition no matter what.

                          Already tried ffmpeg as MKVToolnix too with the same result, I have the codecs installed, also I can play the videos inside Streamfab. It's weird

                            That's not what I meant by "choose a provider"
                            If the error message is always the same, you/I don't need to test 4 providers ..

                            .. I tried "The Penguin.s01e01" from Max AR with your settings (mkvtoolnix, h264, eac3) + selection



                            No problem for me - but I noticed that one audio is EAC3 and one is Atmos.



                            So I would suggest you use without mkvtoolnix (see jpp72) and only one audio/subtitle.​

                              And I can't find anything about err0r 702 on the forum
