Is this what you are looking for? https://www.dvdfab.cn/youtube-movies-downloader.htm

No scam. It's not DVDFAB's fault that you don't know how to read before you bought the module. It is clearly marked that purchased movies can only be downloaded in 480p, but will be available in 1080P soon.

Flexible choice on video and audio quality

StreamFab YouTube Movies Downloader offers multiple options for both video and audio quality. You have the options to save YouTube Movies in 1080p, 720p and 480p quality, as well as AAC 2.0 audio tracks, depending on which one you prefer.

*Purchased movies can only be downloaded in 480P, but will be available in 1080P soon.

I wonder if that was always there or just recently added. Either way, Wilson said for the OP to message him, hopefully something can be worked out.
I would also say that anyone should not hold their breath while waiting for 1080p.
There are limitations on getting 1080p or really anything above 480p, as 1080p and above need different keys than 480p.

What a waste of time, streamfab's so-called support.
As far as logs, send them via SF itself, send feedback, or via (https://www.dvdfab.cn/member.htm?a=get_support). Sending feedback via SF is also viewable on the member site.

Not only the key limitation, but the videos are only at max 480p via browser.

Use the apps as I posted in post # 11, I can confirm that a smart TV YouTube app gives at last 1080p as well as Roku YouTube app, and I am pretty sure even the X1 Xfinity box gets at least 1080p from YouTube.

No surprise that the main reason to make the module a pointless purchase is halfway down the page.
I've tried to send the log and its failed twice.
If not a scam then certainly misleading. Still . I will make sure that unless there is a trial version to check I won't be buying any more modules. I purchased Now tv and that failed from day one and took some weeks to sort out.

When I checked Products and Downloads today the YTM module was not there so I suspect the disclaimer has been added very recently.
Maybe they will get the 1080 sorted before the bank responds to my dispute

I guess when I saw that Youtube movies was able to download in 1080 I expected that I could download Youtube movies in 1080. Sorry if its confusing.
I didn't really expect a get out clause to be added later and one that renders the module pointless to purchase. If you can't download purchases what the hell is the point of it?
At any rate I got my refund . I will purchase it when it actually does what it says and works properly

Good to know you got a refund. Don't hold your breath for SF to ever get 1080p from YTM.

I can't find the post, but it was in the videohelp forum, they implied an L1 might be needed, and I know for sure browsers only offer 480p which is what SF looks like to all providers. For SF to get past that, it would possibly mean a total rewrite of SF to NOT look like a browser, but an app, and then it might get more complicated as each app for each service is different.

The renting and buying I get are just for users willing to watch on some streaming device, which all get the proper apps for each service and show up to 1080p and even 4K.

My worries for the future are what is to stop ALL providers from detecting browsers like YTM and NF for certain brands of movies and lock all movies/shows to either 480p or 540p. Make all users view in their apps for higher resolutions, thus stopping all downloaders and even recorders, for anything above 540p.
