Disney+ The Simpsons on Disney + H.265

Hi,

Even with the new version today, when I attempt to download The Simpsons in 1080P and select H.265, it defaults it to H.264,

Is this a bug or is just me?

it’s simply a matter of whether it exists on the server or not. H265 isn’t encoded for all titles. In some cases though it may be a bug.

I've noted that on some old videos they are not available in h265 on D+. And by older, I mean initially released prior to like 2005.

I'm able to check for you what formats are available if you let me know what episode you tried.

Nevermind i just scheck all seasons and no H.265 is availeble at all for this title.

(H.264, SDR | 1920x1080 - 23.976 FPS) and for the older seasons they have an OAR version also.

Season 36 is a listing all by itself, but seems to me that later seasons should have h265.

Yes i did, the max resolution and codec available on the servers from Disney+ i mentioned in message above you.
This is for the complete TV Shows including the special.

The only other version they have and offer is a OAR version from the older seasons, but still also those are H.624.
