YouTube Did SF remove the ability to download YT playlists?

As the title says. I used to have the option of downloading either a single file or an entire playlist from YT. However that's not the case now. I c&p the playlist address to trigger a download, however if will only download the very first video and nothing else. If I try to click on the download button on the bottom right of the screen (which is greyed) I get the message "this website is currently not supported or no video was found on this page". Running 6.2.2.1.

I can't detect any change in selection ..
.. I copy the URL in the adresslist and hit enter then I see:

But even if I select 720p, dl 1080p (without YT Premium) fails ..

Select the playlist you want to download and play the first video, after a minute or so the icon changes from grey to orange to let you do the download.

And I downloaded something from Netflix and something from Amazon and in 1080p no problems , also did an off line install and cleaned it all off using an uninstaller,

Only with non residental IP (VPN/Proxy) I get 403 Forbidden (unchanged)

I tried the latest 6223 both playlists, and single videos, both regular videos, and the YT movies with ads and all goes fine.
There were a few times when analyzing took a bit longer than it should, but ultimately it did get the videos.

Maybe clear the cache or do an uninstallation and install again.

Plain and simple: just use streamfab for Windows offline installer, which is always available at
                https://www.dvdfab.cn/mlink/download.php?g=StreamFab_x64

                  Is "YouTube down-loader " a separate component?
We used to be able to just copy the link from YT and it would populate in the SF
I have all of the software from SF

It is irritating , it is probably the function I use the most and has always pretty much worked

What Germania needs is a Streamfab.log. This can be found at %HOMEPATH%/Documents/DVDFab/StreamFab/log

OR if not there go to SF and go to settings and find your log locations.

Do this all with SF closed, and then delete all the log files.
Then start SF and do what it takes for the issue to happen. Close SF and then attach the Streamfab.log to your post.

Only 'Trusted Member' can read logs and Germania is one.

I tend to think, because it's claimed SF is getting stuck at analyzing, that maybe you're not logged into YouTube via SF. OR it's a firewall and/or Anti-Virus issue. So while waiting for someone to read your log file, check and maybe even reset your Windows Firewall (Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Defender Firewall /\ Restore Defaults), and/or try a Network reset.

I just downloaded like 400+ YouTube small 10 to 20-minute videos. I also found out you need to take breaks if downloading many YouTube videos, you get the 403 forbidden. Furthermore, I waited about an hour and it cleared up. There was a message somewhere or a notice if downloading many videos, they temp block via IP.
Plain and simple: just use streamfab for Windows offline installer, which is always available at

Unfortunately that's not the case for me. I've played well past the minute-mark and the download button remains greyed, in fact the video is still playing now at 3:36 and nada. I can download single videos without issue by copying the url from my browser, which triggers the download. My issue remains that I'm unable to download entire playlists like I used to be able to do.
