Amazon Can't download anything from Amazon, error code 909

Hi all,

since a couple days every download from Amazon fails for me with an ominous error 909. I already did a couple attempts to get it resolved but as of yet no luck. Streamfab is able to open the AP site and I can navigate to the video I want. It correctly analyzes the video and I can add it to the queue. When I start downloading it seems to work fine until it reaches near 90%. Then it suddenly fails. Happens on every show I tried, the example below was for Big Bang Theory S9E13.

– Watching the video from within SF works.
– Downloading from other providers works.

What I already tried:
– Serveral different combinations with other resolutions, audio as eac3 or aac, different or no subtitles
– cleaned the temp folder
– a complete clean install of SF on a fresh and clean Windows installation. No leftovers from old versions, no other software running.
– clean install of older version on a fresh system. The error appears just the same on 6.2.1.2 and 6.2.1.9

Any idea on how to solve the issue would be greatly appreciated!

If you post a log, then post the complete one and not excerpts.

Why not try again with current release ?
This works also for D+ after error 909 in: SF 6.2.1.9 Error 909

Otherwise rename your log when SF is close, try once
and after fails, close SF and attach your full Log.

Sorry, that was I typo. I tried 6.2.2.1 and 6.2.1.9. AFAIK there is no newer release.

So try Deauthorize, change Amazon Region from Auto to amazon.de
restart SF, use fresh Authorization and try select a listed resolution.

That wasn't it. Since I already wiped the whole system clean and installed SF from scratch, I already went through de- and reauthorizing the Software serveral times. Also picking any listed resolution failed all the same.

Fortunately after a few more tries I think I found the issue, even if it's a weird one.

The temp and download folders I use, are on a NAS. And SF seems to have a problem with the temp folder being on a network. At least if I switch this folder to a local path everything works well. Interestingly though the final download folder can still stay on the network and causes no problems. And the temp folder on the network for the Netflix and D+ modules also is no problem, only Amazon had issues. Doesn't really make any sense, but this way the software works again.

Am seeing some FAILED dls myself today, whereas it has been working fine for the past week or so. Each time it fails I have to just restart it, which is still a pain.
