YouTube YouTube - "This video is DRM Protected."

Long-time StreamFab user, original DVDFab user. Yesterday morning, EVERY YouTube video failed, with the error message "This video is DRM Protected." Another downloader program I use also failed, presumably with the same error, though it doesn't usually report the actual error message. These ARE NOT "members only" or "age restricted" videos or anything like that -- everything has been normal, ordinary, every-day YouTube videos that have always downloaded without issues. Both programs still fail today. I'm presuming that YouTube changed something, but nothing is working for me right now, just hoping you folks can do something to help. Thanks!

try downloading a video without being signed in and see if that works.
please post the streamfab log files for further help

Oh, yes, I've tried being signed in and signed out. Same result either way. I forgot to mention that.

As for the YT-DLP report, that's mostly over my head. If there is something that I could do within StreamFab's settings to help, by all means, please let me know.

Otherwise, I have been looking for other discussion about this kind of thing, but a lot of it seems to be about "members only" type videos. This has been with every video, and I've taken plenty of care to try normal videos that have never been "unavailable" for downloading.

Thanks for your help, and I hope this helps.

"False alarm," apparently. I thought I was signed out of StreamFab, but I finally double-checked, and I was signed into my account. I signed out, and was able to download without problems. I didn't check to see if being signed in still wasn't working -- some other day. Usually, I keep one downloader "signed in," and StreamFab "signed out," but obviously I signed into it at some point recently. I'll consider this "closed" for now.

Well, perhaps I was wrong about the last message -- today I finally checked both "signed in" and "signed out" configurations -- and BOTH worked. I now expect that YouTube was trying some kind of "DRM test," and it was entirely likely that things only started working when YouTube stopped that test, or whatever was going on. "Working on their next move against downloading programs," presumably.
