Paramount+ Paramount Plus stuck on Analyzing Metadata Information

As of today 3/22/25, Paramount Plus is stuck on analyzing metadata information. Upgraded to 6.2.2.6 still had the issue, was working as of 3/21/25. I'm getting this on all shows new and old.

No problem detected - dl finished a minute ago (USA via VPN)

It could be that Paramount Plus has stopped working while using remote desktop, I've noticed over the past few months I've had to stay connected for Paramount to download. It could also be the machine, currently using an older machine that needs to be replaced.

Hi, I am experiencing the same issue. Was using 6.2.2.4, but updated to 6.2.2.6. Not using remote desktop, no VPN. Any show or movie... In the US, Windows 10 64-bit. Analyzing metadata message indefinitely. Eventually I just have to click cancel.

try dl now or add to queue and restart SF and start then the queue (P+ open then automatically)

Still getting stuck for me. Something else to note, P+ doesn't play videos in chrome, firefox, or edge. It will just load a black screen and the menu navigation bar is still being displayed.

If you can't play in regular browser ..
.. why should it be different in SF ??

Can you try to change your ip and/or DNS server?
In case of doubt try a vpn server near your location

Didn't think SF would magically play if the browser wouldn't play, but just found out after posting. Was working on every other device on the network.

Ended up being the network wide ad blocker not allowing the video to play. Removed Ad blocker and rebooted, appears to be working now.
