Youtube is broken again, constantly in an analysing loop.

    Have you tried this yet?

Revised 3/29/2025 1. Totally delete the contents of your StreamFab Log & Temp directories. Please refer to your StreamFab Settings as to where you have told SF where to save them. 2. Use a "professional" uninstall program to completely remove the old version of StreamFab. Make sure the uninstaller removes
NEVER use the update function within Streamfab. Always download the offline file!

Same thing with me. Total uninstalled StreamFab twice, no change. It just analyses forever.
Can’t even download content I purchased on YouTube!

Same here. Funny thing is I have two windows 10 computers and it works fine on those. My main pc is windows 11 and it just continuously analyzes. If I copy and paste the url then I get the ' wrong format used error message.

I was able to confirm, partly >here and doing more testing. (I hate when several topics get opened for one issue :/)

I find that with YouTube Movies & TV, movies with ads, it tries to analyze and then comes up analyze failed.

Standard/regular YouTube videos, SF goes into the download queue and then stays at analyzing in the download queue.

It looks like more changes are happening on YouTube.

I can download standard/regular YouTube videos with at least 2 other downloaders.
Due to the movies free with ads being DRM, I only have one other downloader for them, and that sometimes works and other times does not work.

People again can only wait till SF can catch up with the ongoing YouTube changes. They can also contact feedback/support.

Plain and simple: just use streamfab for Windows offline installer, which is always available at

It wouldn't be a Streamfab update if it didn't make things stop working that previously worked aswell as correcting problems.

All anyone can do is wait or report it via feedback and still wait.
YouTube seems to make changes almost daily, if not weekly.

yt-dlp is updated almost daily. I know it takes time to keep up to date, but at this point, SF should update that module every time they release a new version of the program. In this case, 6228 just got updated and no YT mention.

Yeah, not sure if they updated their version of yt-dlp in 6228. I know they did in 6227.

I use other YouTube downloaders. Now, yeah, they auto-update yt-dlp, but they all worked, even jdownloader. And one of the downloaders, I don't even think updates yt-dlp and worked.
It also was a suggestion by Cat4U that SF should make it so that their mod version of yt-dlp(YoutubeToMP3Process.exe) should check and be able to auto-update itself.
But I feel that SF feels so what, users have to wait a week for a full SF update.

Sometimes to me, it might just be my view, but it's more so it's the nonsense analyzing SF seems to have to do. Some YouTube videos again won't even analyze, and others do but then get stuck in the download queue analyzing. I have yet to find another YouTube downloader that needs to analyze so much or even at all.

See what happens if an update comes around Thursday. They could also release intermediate 'patches', but knowing SF, that would break something else.
