gonna try when i reboot next time. but it is not satisfying. because some episodes are still getting encoded in AV1 this way. i would understand when it happens to all files but obviously Remote Display Adapter can encode AV1. it worked before the update and it does after update but only in about 5% now. some sort of fix would be nice.

The simplest explanation would be different encoder versions/settings by NF ..
.. I can't say any more about this due to the lack of a remote display adapter
For me - with hardware graphics adapter - all AV1 works fine (>200 NF series)

Ok, an other user inform me that he get error 702 for some seasons with AV1
After my HDR10 AV1 tests I rechecked Pulse.s01e03 .. find the different:
Error 702 occurs (for reasons unknown to me) with the new AV1 HDR10 offer in 2nd pic
(s01e01+02 is currently not offered as HDR10) - and it works for me:
So I think you can switch to NF Standard plan (1st pic) and get smaller AV1 bit rates
without HDR10 (without "Get pssh error" because not HDR10 supported)
btw:

.. but now it's fixed - so I get 128k (with Standard - with Premium 192k)

.. but I already wrote that I don't have a Virtual display adapter
and therefore couldn't test it.
But that doesn't really explain why you can't undo this without any problems.
check UDP + TCP on port 3389 and try fClientDisableUDP=1 => info | info+

Open Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) Go to:
Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services -> Remote Desktop Session Host -> Connections
Open "Select network detection on the server" , click "Enabled" and choose "Turn off Connect Time Detect and Continuous Network Detect" from the dropdown menu under the "Select Network Detect Level"
Restart the remote machine and the issue should be solved.
