StreamFab for Windows The real crash

If the release is really as described, it's a good patch for the first time in a long while.

Therefore, I'm hoping that what I reported today will be fixed soon.

Many are bothered by it, many complain, but many don't know that it's a general problem.
The first time you open a provider, it doesn't work. Not at all. You have to wait a short while, close the tab, and restart the provider for everything to work again.
This problem has existed for ages.

I've experimented with it a bit.
If I open a provider and close it immediately and then open it again, StreamFab crashes.
    ALWAYS.
You really have to wait a short time before closing the provider.

This problem has also existed for a very long time.

Tested on 2 different servers, 5 different PCs.
    It's always reproducible.

When you close SF, you will see in the Task Manager that the process has not ended immediately.

I have noticed for a long time that when I delete the StreamFab.log after closing SF,
a new one is created or I cannot delete it because it is still in use.

Yes it's true - but should not be a big problem

      That's not what I mean.

If you open a provider and don't wait that waiting time and then open the provider again immediately, StreamFab crashes.
Open provider -> close immediately -> open again (sometimes crash happens here already) -> crash.

Not if I reopen StreamFab immediately after (I know that it stays open a little longer, which doesn't really bother me).

I have never figured this out. For me, there are days SF works fine. Other days it does as described here.
I just checked today even after a reboot and then start SF, and Peacock, Amazon & Netflix all loaded fine. And want to add also Disney+ & Hulu.
Don't know then if it's a cache thing or what. I have fully eliminated it being something with any Antivirus or Malware program(s) running in the background.
I did that by excluding the whole folder C:\Program Files\DVDFab\StreamFab, as well as the StreamFab AppData and Documents folders, from antivirus or malware scanning.

As far as I remember, it's been numerous months, so it doesn't seem to bother the developer.
And maybe, if it comes and goes for the developer like it does for me. If that is what is happening, it makes it harder to fully resolve.
Plain and simple: just use streamfab for Windows offline installer, which is always available at
      https://www.dvdfab.cn/mlink/download.php?g=StreamFab_x64
