I have a video to download from Vimeo. SF says there is a password option , and I do have the password but I don't see anyway to enter it.

Anyone know where it is?

Try this (untested)

Step 1
Set up a basic (free) account at https://vimeo.com/upgrade.
The link to a basic account is listed right below the header.

Step 2
On your computer or laptop, log in to your Vimeo account.
In your email program, open the email message that has the vimeo link to your private video.
Open the video, enter the password.
On the top right corner of the video, click the Clock Icon to Add To Watch Later list.
Repeat this for each video, adding each video to your Watch Later List.
You only need to do this step once per video.

is the password from the person who posted the video ?? if yes then
i think you'll have to contact the person who posted the video for the password.

Thanks for the info.

The email with the link in also referred to an icon in the top right hand corner but it doesn't seem to be there.
I will give it another go.

The info seems to be the same as that given by the supplier . Watch Later merely remembers where you are up to so you can continue later. Despite the provider offering instructions on how to download the video (which requires viewing in the Vimeo app) the symbols and links they refer to are not appearing.

In SF it seems as if the download would work if it wasn't password protected. But when it starts it fails then says "use password option" but I can't see where the password has to be entered

I was copying the link which opened the download page on SF and this is where it got stuck.

So I pasted the link in the SF browser page which opened the password page and upon entering it the video played fine but after all that the video won't analyse.

Clicked on analyse and it says "video not supported". But refreshed the page and the analyse option worked and finally got the download working.

What a faff. Thanks for your assistance
